Creative (selective) editing at play again

I'm sure there's creative editing all over the place but it doesn't detract from the fact that she SAID all the stuff she said and acted in the way she did. She has one huge head on her and as a PP said she's her own biggest fan. She's unreasonable simply for using the non-word 'unhumble'- wtf?😁

It's definitely looking like the producers favourites Molly and Zach are being prepared for the win.

Second will be Jess/Sammy or maybe Scott/whoever he's with at the time.

I genuinely don't understand the no chemistry comments between Lochan and Whit, they seem to do more ahem, bits, than most of the other couples, so they clearly are attracted to each other - but not given as much air time I suppose.

They and Ty/Ella and Zach/Molly (sometimes) are the only couples with passable chemistry imo. Jess feels chemistry towards Sammy but he probably feels friendly vibes and appreciation towards her for keeping him in the villa. The others aren't worth analysing.

She didn't say or do anything that bad though? Or worse than others have said or behaved?

The producers set her up by revealing they were the favourites, so that any behaviour afterwards would be viewed in that light and judged as being proud and mean girl

Which is exactly how it's playing out.

The title of favourite couple was always going to be a poison chalice for Whitney and Lochlan
I think that the producers decided that they didn’t want a Whitney/Lochlan win .
I don’t understand why Whitney has sudddenly become public enemy number one. She was upset when Ella called her smug . Whitney has always been supportive of Ella and has consoled her when she had problems. with Tyrique ( who is a nasty piece of work)
Whitney probably feels a little betrayed hence why she called Ella selfish.
I don’t think Whitney comes across as arrogant at all.

@TerfTalking I agree will all you've said. I starting as it was fun to watch with DD14, and actually at first, it was a good conversation starter re toxic behaviour, boundaries, red flags, sex etc. Now even she asking: why are we watching this garbage?? 😂

The producers either don't want them to win, or just want to stop anyone standing in Molly's way

They can control the narrative by highlighting scenes that make an islander a public darling or villain, and they're using that power now to knock Whitney off the "darling" perch.

Ella T wasn't exactly unselfish when she demanded Ella B move off the dressing table place. And Tyrique has spent his entire time in the villa making snide/judgemental comments about nearly every other islander and/or couple. It's true he may have some chemistry with Ella but on his own admission he's slept with over 100 girls and likes the game so he's not going to find it difficult to be with someone as attractive as she is.

I just don’t understand all the Molly hate. I actually think her being put with Mitch and not putting up with his blazing red flags and then making her own choice in Zach made people dislike her.
She wouldn’t be my choice of winner but I just don’t get why loads of people are vehemently against her. She didn’t deserve to get dumped by Kady and it was fair to bring her back, Zac could have said he had a better connection with Kady if he wanted to and chose not to.

it’s weird there’s no code for “bits” this year as it’s hard to know sexual chemistry when they all know they have their parents watching at home so what happens under the covers stays there.

I love Whitney and she’s real such producer bullshit to put a target on her amd Lochan’s back like that. We don’t see even 10% of their conversations.

I also wish we could just vote our top two favourite islanders. Mine would be Whit & Jess too

She is one of these 'tell it like it is' kind of people and people like this proper fuck me off tbh. Like it's NOT a strength being fucking RUDE.

I also don't like Ella much either, and have found her irritating all through the series. Her mardy face makes me feel like smashing the TV in.

Remember when Zach admitted to cheating on every girl he’s ever been with, and all the girls said once a cheater always a cheater.

What did Molly do? Sit and smirk with Zach saying ‘they really thought that was going to put me off you’

Also, Zach kissed Kady first, yet Molly was loud and proud declaring she’s glad Kadys out, she’s the type to blame the girl when her bf does the maddest things.

Also, the dumped by the bombshell has been done before, Shannon in S7. She was never brought back, so not sure why it wasn’t fair to Molly, when there’s precedent. They shouldn’t have brought her back imo, she brings nothing.

Mollys a producer plant, yet she’s so dull she couldn’t win without the producers giving her a helping hand, hence the whole sowing discontent amongst the rest with the Whitney reveal.

This is exactly why I'm still team Whitney, The meddling producers have shot themselves in the feet. Whitney for the Win!!!

I'm not a fan of Molly but I don't 'hate' her. Can take or leave the lot of them actually. But she's always going to suffer because of the producer 'plant' rep. Mind you - wasn't there a lot of talk about farmer Will being a plant on the last series? He was being teed up for various TV opportunities and his own reality show etc. So that went well. 😅

Don't want any of them to win, unless the producers wangle a 'vote for your favourite Islander' instead of best couple.

How can any of you say this is reasonable from Whitney? 😅 No "i didn't mean to upset you but..." or similar, just doubling down and going into attack mode. If you all address concerns with your friends like this, it's a bit concerning! 😅
