The addition of Jo Konta is not helping matters

Think I’ve see enough tennis for today!

I've ended up on DIY SOS because I was too lazy to change the channel. Lovely boys whose mum died and they had to move in with their grandparents in their small retirement home. Will be in tears by the end no doubt.

The 'Watson Likelihood to Win' for tomorrow's matches on the Wimbledon website is interesting (under Results and Upcoming). Is that new this year too?

A bit of Pat Cash at the end Anne Keovathong in the middle, plus a Feli treat but otherwise very poor. And no, Johanna Konta, that great team player, didn't help my mood!
Not even live. The host signed off at the end (10pm) in broad daylight, saying (rather disingenuously) that there was still plenty of play going on and to look at the BBC website to catch up on the rest of the news!
I recorded TAW, thank God, so I fast forwarded through a lot of it.

I was hanging around that table hoping McEnroe would turn up! But they’d all disappeared somewhere else.

I did get a photo with Clare Balding though, a bit earlier she was at the Henman Hill table and I caught her just as she was leaving it to go elsewhere (presumably to wherever they did TAW from!)

It’s been a very long but very fabulous day! DD managed to get photos with and autographs from Liam Broady, Felix AA and Barbora Krejcikova. DD only just missed getting one from Leylah Fernandez - DD was right behind her close enough to touch as she left her match but DD couldn’t quite get where Leylah could see her. We also saw Carlos at the practice courts which was good!

Saw various bits of several matches and also spotted Tim and Anne Keothavong chatting to Isa earlier this morning.

And despite thinking all the matches on court 1 probably wouldn’t be that dramatic, we got Casper getting a run for his money and poor Coco going out.

Just as we were leaving after Coco’s match finished they announced that centre Court was open to all with no ticket required - if I had been on my own I would have gone for it but DD was so tired and I had already made her stay about an hour longer than she wanted to!

DS and DH are going on Saturday and DS and I are going next Monday. What was security like? I read that they were confiscating sun cream water bottles on the way in

Yes the new TAW was rubbish Kazza - with the slight bonus of Feli who looked a bit confused by the whole thing!

It did seem to have been filmed throughout the day - I used to like watching Mac asking Tim awkward questions as the sun went down - the Beeb hasn’t had a good day really

Eurosport has a highlights programme with Babsy, Mats and Laura Robson. It starts at 10 nightly.

Sounds like a great day Chessie but probably very tiring too.

I didn't see TAW but sounds like they've completely ruined it now, it was already bad enough after they took Inverdale off it but at least Mac, Boris and Pat Cash were funny.

kazza we had no issues with security at all but I think we were lucky from what I’ve heard! We were there really early so we were the third in the queue so straight in, and they just had a very quick look in our bags and sent us on our way. Maybe it was because I had innocent-looking DD with me? I know the guidance I had from Wimbledon beforehand said you can’t take in opaque water bottles so maybe they were being very strict about that.

Fizzy the Pimms was £12.20 so couldn’t afford to drink it all day! You could get £1 of that back if you handed back your reusable cup for recycling but I kept mine as a souvenir.

And yes it was very tiring, I’m shattered now (doesn’t help that the hotel we’re staying in is on the noisy side so I haven’t slept brilliantly).

Sounds like a brilliant day, Chessie- but exhausting (we were all shattered just trying to keep up with the coverage ).

I'm glad I didn't bother with TAW- it's not really been the same for years, and I had enough of Konta during her commentary, so I'm not sure I want to watch her on that as well.

£12.20 for Pimms - blimey (might have to take my own but quite like the idea of a souvenir cup!)

I suppose they have to be careful in case there are any Just Oil protestors - I was thinking that was the only thing that Kyrgios might have been useful for - carrying a protestor off the court!

Today looks like an even busier day of tennis - I think there are even more matches that I want to watch today - I need a strategy but yes don’t think I’ll be bothering with TAW again

I couldn't get iplayer working yesterday and am out most of today so won't be watching.

I'm not too bothered, I don't know if it's no sue, Rafa, Roger or because I'm not in UK but I seem to have lost enthusiasm for it all a bit.

The old 'souvenir cup' trick. They rely on people doing this, don't they- the Pimms itself doesn't cost all that much- but if everyone who buys it keeps a glass and doesn't get the deposit back...

It's why I have a cupboard full of mulled wine mugs from the Christmas Markets . and at least 5 of them are the same.

The cup isn’t really that great - I think they genuinely do want people to hand them back to reuse them, because as well as being able to hand it back in at a bar for your £1 there were lots of other buckets round the grounds you could just chuck them in (but then you didn’t get £1 back - think they then donate the £1 to charity). It’s probably not really worth keeping but I wanted every souvenir possible!!

I made sure DH recorded as much Wimbledon as possible yesterday so I will watch it (including TAW) to see if I can spot myself! DH did spot us when we were watching Leylah Fernandez.

I have plastic souvenir 'beer glasses' that I always think- it wasn't really worth keeping. .

I have just (out of curiosity) watched TAW on fast forward. I used to watch TAW, even when I'd watched every second of the day's play. I don't think I'm going to bother.

I would do the same.

Ha ha I’m hoping that I won’t be on the telly - I don’t want to be that middle aged woman guzzling Pimms, stuffing my face or falling asleep (I will probably do all 3!)

Apparently Roger will be making an appearance on centre court before play starts today - his Mum and Dad were in the crowd yesterday - hope he’s got a special outfit planned!

I’m not sure anyone could get their iplayer working for a while yesterday magi but I know what you mean - I didn’t feel very excited yesterday but I think there might be some more interesting matches today
