Just came on to post the same thing. Just watching now. Horrible storyline. I think I’ll be switching off.

I remember the anxiety of watching the poor Roy storyline first time around. Because I can remember the arc of the story I'll be able to bear it better this time around, but it's a truly difficult watch. Tracy is awful.

Roy sobbing in the shower was awful. I wasn’t watching at this time but obviously know the outcome

I’m thinking it’s a horrible journey to watch and come

What on earth was Katie's outfit today when she came out of Roy's rolls? 😂 floral skirt, weird clown top, weird boots and a denim jacket, complemented by the Rod Stewart hair cut 🙈

I thought that Archie was in it as a “regular” for much longer than this.

I had a chuckle the other day when they spoke about his kids all being too busy with their lives and families to help him at work… not the George and Glinda we know now then 😁

I thought the same!! It was quite something.

agree that the Tracy storyline is disgusting and it always annoyed me that Tracey never really got her comeuppance for any of her crimes

I really don't understand the hair. 20 years ago iirc that was a middle-aged style (I remember specifically a family member of mine) not a teenage trend.

Look at pictures of Victoria Beckham from around the time she got married. Her hair was all spikey and scraggy just like that.

I think they changed her long hair for a 'grown up' hair style on purpose, as that was when Tommy said she looked like a 20 year old when she was about to go out to the party and when Martin finally gave in and pursued her.

Yes short spikey hair was very much the thing back then, unfortunately it really didn’t do much for Katie at all! Karen Macdonald sported VIctoria Beckham hair a couple of months back but she grew it out pretty quickly.

I have that hairstyle if i have my glasses on top of my head before my hair is properly dry. Not as shiny though.

I missed a few episodes...I don't remember that from the first time round!
Classic corrie helped me through lockdown but it is starting to move into the current too many issues territory.
