I see Kato won her mixed match against her also disqualified women's doubles partner.

Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo got a lot of abuse for their part in getting the other pair disqualified and Vasek Pospisil said Kato's loss of prize money and points was theft!

Pity we can't see the pictures they are showing very well.

I’m not feeling very excited about the men’s final but will definitely be rooting for Caspar! At least he’s got experience of being in a RG final and I don’t think he idolises Djok as much as he does Rafa but it’s still a tough ask for him

I didn’t see any of his semi against Zverev but was surprised at the one sided scoreline

I saw some of the women’s final - it was a good match - I missed Iga dropping the lid off the trophy though - I think that’s a bit of a design flaw! Maybe they should sellotape the lid on?

There has been general amusement/piss taking on the Tennis Podcast about Tsitsi-dosa - apparently there is lots of oversharing on their Instagram - I sort of want to look, but also don’t want to look!

It’s boiling here - I think it’s cooler inside so I might as well stay in and watch the tennis - I think Yannick Noah will be presenting the trophy - let’s hope it’s to the right person (and not scary Spider-Man Djok!)
