Really enjoyed everything in that, as long as Miranda and Che were not involved.
The Halloween party. Lisa and Anthony should always be dance partners. She is so beautiful! I have no idea who Charlotte was dressed as, but she looked fabulous - no ruffles, bows or middle aged Disney princess skirts, and her face looked almost normal. The chat between Nya, Seema and Carrie about where to go to find men felt like old times, loved it. But Miranda's "Really? Really?" at Carrie g going to a bar to. pick up a man. Just shut up. You have completely changed your sexuality, shagging some unfunny, boundary free git who is years younger than you and you've fucked over your husband. You shouldn't be judging others. Really!
I liked the bit of cultural cross over for Chris Jackson - back in a George Washington costume. I'm warming up a bit to these two (especially poor Lisa with her dead father confusion).
Seema is gorgeous, funny, feisty and unshockable. Not quite Samantha, but she'll do. Enjoyed her scenes with. Mr Penis-Pump. Very reminiscent of a Samantha like situation.
Carrie's coat in the cyclist scene - gorgeous! Isn't cyclist guy George the same bloke who was in the SATC episode when Harry proposes to Charlotte? I think he was the lawyer, David, who Charlotte has a blind date with at the single and mingle, then rejects. I thought Carrie's scenes were quite reminiscent of one of her bad SATC dates. Typical Carrie, though, any amount of effort on her part or not being the centre of attention for 2 minutes, and she's done.
Loving Nya's new found wild side, and she looked gorgeous throughout. But please, can she talk with someone who's excited for her, not bloody Miranda. NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR SLEEP SCHEDULE, YOU UTTER BORE!
Nice to see Rock being excited about something. I quite liked the little comedic scene between Charlotte and Harry at the photo shoot. Might be because she wasn't shouting, gurning and eye-rolling at him. I assume the acting between them emulated whatever show characters it was they had been dressed up as at the Halloween ball. Whoever they are, please stay in those characters! (Charlotte really does need a meatier storyline, though.)
I'm wondering if the round table discussion about Che Passa was a dig at the viewers of AJLT who all hated Che, and said similar things about that character All the "Time Square Tourists" were old/middle aged or looked like they spent too much time in the basement (even the supposedly "gender queer" person) I wonder if that's MPK sticking tow fingers up to his critics - that we are all old farts and fugglies? Those people presumably aren't even the intended audience for this sort of comedy programme. And Miranda, again, please shut up. "Those people don't understand your story!" What bloody story? What is so interesting about Che, apart from the ridiculous pronoun and rebranding of a bi-sexual? And it's bloody irritating that Miranda always ask for permission to hug/kiss whatever, when Che (apparently) has zero boundaries about other peoples' permission when she is the one wanting to initiate physical contact. I'm sure Che needs a few more days alone to get over her pilot disaster by fucking everything in sight. Miranda is such a gullible fool. I guess we are stuck with Che in NY doing shit stand up.
That was directed by Cynthia Nixon! Next time, direct yourself and your them-friend out of it, please. Because that wasn't half bad.
