Aw, Medhi and Whitney have just melted my cold, old heart a little bit. That was very sweet in an awkward first kiss kind of way.

I don't mind Medhi. I think there is a cultural difference there between him and Whitney but he is very straight forward. He didn't get pissy behind her back about her sniggering at his speech for instance he just told her straight. I'd probably be a bit put out too if I had to give some sappy speech and the person was sniggering at it. Its cringey enough to have to do it without the recipient mocking you for it.

Sammy is awful and I can’t shake the vibe that he’s not being genuine with Jess. Mitch is just totally bonkers. I honestly can’t get my head round why he’s been picked to go in there. He’s the kind of guy that you’d find attractive if you saw him in a bar/club but would be itching to get away from once he engaged you in conversation because he gives you the heebie jeebies!

Don’t know what the hell is going on with Whitney and Medhi! They both admitted individually to the girls and boys that there was no chemistry and it’s not going anywhere but then confess to each other that they like each other. I can’t lie though, the kiss on the terrace was really sweet and Whitney seemed genuinely in to it and him.

I really like Leah. I thick she’s cute with a naughty side which I think the boys all like. She seems genuine and straightforward. I think her and Scott make a good couple and I think they are more suited than Scott and Catherine. They seem quite unlikely although they so appear to naturally get on.

I agree with all of the above apart from the kiss, it seemed so contrived and scripted.

Can't really work that one out maybe he did it to prove a point..,.but you can only pretend for a while..,and woukd have to be pretty calculated fuck knows (med whit).

If Catherine likes Scott she needs to show it as Leah is on that shit.

It is ironic that Sammy who says he is a Project Manager had to ask what accountability means.

Caught up and Sammy is awful. His behaviour is waving red flags all over the place; no understanding or empathy for hurting Leah's feelings and anger and ultimatums to Jess when she challenges his actions. I like Jess; she seemed genuinely concerned over Leah being upset and she deserves better than Sammy.

Can't see it working with Whitney and Medhi. He's not a good fit for her and I suspect she needs someone more lively and fun to keep her interested. She seems like a lovely girl and I want her to stay but they need to send someone in for her.

Leah seems grounded and Scott seems decent. Don't know what's going on with Mitch, he seems a bit intense and not sure Love Island will suit him.

Don't get the fuss about Zach or Ty.

Apparently viewing figures are through the floor and the quietness of this thread reflects that rather well. At this time last year we had completely filled two threads (2000 posts) - and everyone was saying it was quiet compared to previous years!

For now I'm pretty hooked on it though! I just hope some of the newbies get a proper chance. Last year only 2 of the OG ever got voted off and all of the final group had been there since day 3 at the latest. Kinda boring.

I can believe this. It's very boring with mediocre people (I'm still watching though....)

I can't believe out of all the applicants they surely must receive, that this is the best they could come up with.
