Mitch so desperate haha glad it appears to not have really worked. He also seems to think if he says he likes someone then that’s that they should be talking and getting to know each other. He doesn’t seem to care whether the other person actually says they like him too, unless they make it extremely clear (e.g. not sharing a bed with him)

My TV died just before they got there - who is up for dumping?

Disappointed in Ella and Whitney, Molly got Zach and they then vote Andre off.

I was hoping Zach would go and had hoped Mollie would have been in the bottom three.

Ty is worse than Mitchell, he's been playing Ella and wouldn't even give her a timeline to make up his mind then as soon as she's had a chat with Scott and she's said she's not fully closed off he gets thick with her. She should kick him to the curb if she has any sense.

I think Tyrique is lovely to look at but I'm not finding any of the men very engaging.

The best part of love island for me has always been social media and forums, Twitter could make the most boring episode funny so I had to watch live. It’s just dull everywhere. I’m only watching the last 10 minutes at the moment or fast forward the following morning.

I couldn’t make out everything he was saying because he speaks so fast but that sounded like some vicious controlling shit Tyrique was hissing at Ella just before they were all called to the fire pit. These boys are all such blatant fucking misogynists.

Mitchell’s face when they mentioned that the public had voted and he realised that constantly revealing his evil master plan might have been a strategic error 😂

I'm gutted Andre went - he seemed like the best of a bad bunch, so I'd voted for him.

He's so vacant, I don't get why any of the girls are attracted to him.

Yes me too seems like they kept the drama tears in Andre seemed lovely just no airtime...should have been Mitch to go his voice is getting droning.

Also realised how dull Leah is

Andre was always going to go when those three boys were announced as Catherine wasn’t there to fight for him. No way were Molly and Jess going to let Zach and Sammy go. Sammy really is awful, he creeps me out big time.

Maybe Andre going will pave the way for Catherine and Scott though? He seemed to quite like her.

Did anyone catch what Catherine said in the preview of Sundays show, it cut to Scott quickly and he pulled a face but despite rewinding three times I couldn’t figure it out.

when they were discussing who to vote off, they said that Andre is a big personality - yet we never ever ever saw that. It's so infuriating that they don't at least attempt to show a balanced view of each islander.
It would be more enjoyable watching them carrying on for 10 mins of each show, then a balanced amount of airtime for the rest of the episode. The programme shouldn't only be around who is with who - as that then also manipulates how they behave when they're single, a la Mitch suddenly "fancying" Jess.

Alstho I have to say I think Jess is SO MUCH more attractive than I thought she was at the start - so there's potentially an element of that with Mitch.

Ella - I'm confused. She kept asking Ty to make up his mind (and yes, he was playing her), and then he did and they decided they were starting to make a go of it. So why was she shocked when Ty was irked at her getting to know Scott?

I hope Catherine calls them out on that - that they just looked out for themselves and threw her under the bus

I also hope they're all in a tailspin as to why the public didn't vote to save Zach - we'll possible see them all flocking elsewhere now that they know he's not a ticket to the final

Catching up on last night. I remain totally baffled as to why anyone is interested in Sammy. His appeal utterly alludes me

I thought in last nights episode Jess looked a lot more attractive. I don’t know if her eyelashes are different. Something has changed and she looks a bit more natural.

Really though do we want to spend an hour watching lovely but slightly dull people sitting around chatting every evening. If Andre wasn't slightly dull he would have been involved in something, anything that would have given him some airtime. If you get rid of all the big characters you are left with a boring show so it's a catch 22 really.

It's like people being shocked Catherine was in the least fav 3, she seems lovely and as a fellow Irish person I wanted to rate her but other than flutter her eyelashes at Zach and then rebounding back to Andre when Zach didn't want her anymore she hasn't really brought anything.

Like I said lovely is great but sitting around watching a lot of lovely people sit around being lovely to each other isn't good tv, you need funny, exuberant people too. Look at Whitney, she hasn't done much in the love stakes but she has gotten airtime because she has some personality about her.

one thing I'm enjoying this year is that there are actually NO couples at the moment - everyone is keeping their options open, which is more interesting than watching people coupled up with the same people for a whole series.

I also cannot bear Sammy - and I can't tell if Jess fancies him or whether he was her only option so is going with it
