Another thing to add weight to the theory that matsson will pick Tom for his CEO - he told Kendall a few episodes ago that he doesn't respect a man who can sleep. Tom = very tired last 2 episodes from all the stress/ATN stuff

Plus Matsson looked impressed when Shiv told him that Tom would miss the funeral because he was working.
Remember right at the beginning how once Logan was disappointed with Kendall for coming to his own birthday party instead of sorting out a deal? Vaulter I think ....

He’s not a Roy. He has to earn his living.

( ie Tom has stressed for two episodes in a row that he is tired and hasn't slept)

As an aside can I say how fun it is to see Peter Munion (Mr Lady Caroline) being played by Uncle Carey from Poldark

Just saw a TikTok from an extra on the funeral episode, who said that Connor’s speech was filmed- it was then obviously cut.

It makes such sense that he didn’t get to do his speech (the same way he’s overlooked and left out of everything else) I wonder why they ever filmed it!

My money’s on Gerri for CEO. Was it Hugo who told Ken that Matsson was considering a US CEO? That information wouldn’t have come from Shiv. Which means that Matsson’s been discussing it with someone else that’s close to Hugo…

I think Hugo said he got the info from Ebba, @AgentProvocateur . She has been the source of quite a lot of info from the Matsson camp.

There is a character in The Thick of It (also written by Jesse Armstrong) called Peter Mannion. Must be an in joke

I re ally like Shiv, and Roman. Kendall is the least likeable I think.

I watched the first couple of episodes of Succession thinking Meh. It was Kendal that drew me in. He's such a brilliant, complex, damaged character. He's got to be one of the best TV characters ever.

@tribpot there goes my theory! 😂 Even watching with subtitles, there’s so much action and dialogue that I always feel I should watch each episode twice.

Can anyone explain where Ewan made his money? He's so disgusted by Waystar Royco, surely it's not from Logan?

I googled and the consensus is that he was an original shareholder/investor in Waystar Royco. When the appalling uncle and aunt died they left Euan the farm and Logan a printing press.

There's another brilliant character that gives the show so much atmosphere - the theme music! LOVE IT! Told my daughter she has to learn how to play it on the piano after her A levels (she almost got the theme from West World too but you need a very wide hand span to play it properly).

It would be the least likely outcome ever BUT I really want Willa to come out on top.
