We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. After the end of series 4 of Spooks, we have taken a short break and are back with our first love - Our Girl. The consensus of the group was to view series 2. We are now viewing series 1 to remind ourselves just how much we enjoyed it. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

There is a bit of a jump here from cleaning the kitchen to suddenly meeting CJ. I don't know why they didn't say 2 months later or something.

CJ seems so clear that he's not staying in the army here. I'm guessing they weren't planning on another series.

They mull over what happened and get things straight.

I think the BBC dragged their feet about deciding on a second series and that is why LT had returned to Walford

CJ confesses he loves her. He encourages her to go back to Afghan. I bet he could curse the waitress with the bottle of wine!

Smurf shows up and all is forgiven. Now they are mates, but surely CJ would feel jealous.

Classy red dress...not!

I love it when they all laugh at Smurf in the glasses.

Smurf has delivered the red dress. It's hideous.

They do a sightseeing tour around London. Smurf looks very pleased with himself.

Smurf talks about leaving the army. He's right. It wasn't the best place for him.

Smurf’s actually okay now he’s accepted reality.

At least this was a lovely happy day together and all was forgiven and forgotten.

Agreeing to go to Vegas with Smurf seems weird at this stage. Bet CJ would have loved that idea

Back at West Ham, Molly and Smurf walk on the pitch. Smurf starts running and then .....

I sometimes wonder exactly what CJ and Molly had agreed for the future. It was obviously destined to be quite some time apart.

Smurf falls on the ground and starts speaking weirdly. Medic Molly swings into action. This is so sad.
