So the 'old money' tried on the green dress in the shop. The assistant and the son were like 'oh you look amazing'. She said 'i think I look frumpy' and I'm thinking yes you do the dress did nothing for her and they were all wow!

I liked the new money woman, excellent head for business and she seemed very down to earth but the old money family seemed very hard working and down to earth too.

So i thought I recognised Barrie in this episode. He and his former husband, Tony, were the first gay dads (i think) to have surrogate children - Saffron and Aspen. I’m sure there was a programme about them years ago.
Now what I also found out was that Barrie’s current partner, Scott, who is in this episode with him, is actually Saffron’s ex-boyfriend!

Just finished watching this episode.
Barrie was amazing and fair play to him helping someone out.
can’t say any more than that otherwise it would be a spoiler.

This episode turned into The Apprentice for a while, with Ocean cooking under the watchful eye of the chef! Lovely that Barrie wanted to invest and support her with her business, but that was clearly the main objective of the programme.

Eight children - all by surrogate, presumably? That was the most interesting bit that was never explained. I wanted to like Barrie but didn't warm to him doing this.

And given that Barrie & Scott spent over a quarter of their budget on their first shopping trip for one day and over £6 on 3 chicken breasts, how come they were eating takeaway later on in the week? Where was their little girl (Valentina?) when they were shopping? What was her experience of the poor lifestyle? What happened to their baby boy during the week?

The children always magically disappear on the programmes. They always have someone to look after them

OMG it's that family. They were on an episode of Below deck, they were awful but the kids were lovely. I'll have to catch up on this episode now.

I knew I recognized Barrie! Him and his ex husband featured in a program before about surrogacy and Barrie was completely vile. Saffron wanted to have contact with her birth mother (she had no female family) and Barrie was trying to block this at all costs, with absolutely no regard for her feelings. It was all about him. He has a surrogacy company and is in the papers every week and gives away 'babies'.
The whole family makes Jeremy Kyle look like Miss Marple. Saffron got her eggs frozen incase her dad wants more kids with his partner, who is her ex boyfriend. I feel very sorry for the kids in this situation. I think a lot of it was about the fame for him.

I was shocked the young husband even tasted some spicy food as he insisted on chicken nuggets whatever the menu was on below deck.

I was glad it wasn't another mlm/mentoring pitch but Barrie making his money selling women's bodies is just as distasteful.

I liked the poor house, again it was lovely but needed some repair. That mum did her best to work whilst minimising childcare was a refreshing change for the show too.

I hope she has an absolute blast in Florida and does get the food business going.
I have some doubts as clearly the chef was helping a lot with organisation and time management.

I just read that Barrie still lives with his ex Tony, aswell as his new fiance. Tony is terminally ill and although accepts that Barrie has moved on, wants to die still married to Barrie. Barrie wants to divorce so he can marry the new guy ASAP. Tony was so lovely, I always wondered what he saw in Barrie. They had the same dynamic as Adrian and Thomas in MAFSUK.
