Usually one is at home looking after under 5's and say they are poor and wonder why one doesn't work evenings /nights

I felt sorry for her husband /ex being dumped as his brain injury

He seemed to want to get another pa - does that mean she will lose the extra money claiming for him

Her foundation at the end meet up was awful. Totally wrong colour for her

And wow at basically buying her a business

I would def like to see a years catch up of this series

I think a lot of people do end up breaking up after they go through things like this

I feel like this episode really jarred to be honest.

That lovely house, those animals.

It didn't seem like someone in the least bit 'poor' really.

Let's say it was £400 for the horses like it said on the programme.
I'm going to take an educated guess that she got those horses 2 years ago when she moved into that house (I think it said she'd been there 2 years? It definitely said before the she was in social housing)
I mean I love animals but it seemed like it was a choice she was making for her to have so little money at the end of the month rather than just how life is if you see what I mean.
She chose to make her life all about animals and also rent this barn with those outbuildings which must cost a lot in itself, which is fine, but very jarring to then go on a programme like this.

I mean I do wonder about all the episodes and if the plans panned out for these people or if these 'poor' people truly want what they're offered,
But I'd be especially interested to know if anything came of this one.

Read Barrie and Tony divorced in 2019, but still live together in Florida. Tried to find accounts for his company but it's registered in the States. Dynamic was so weird - new boyfriend never spoke around him. Really didn't like the surrogacy.
Last nights jarred as someone said. Didn't warm to any of them. Felt 'poor' woman was actually 'chosen to live like this' woman.

Last week's poor couple with the baby were lovely, and I was so pleased they had such an amazing offer from the rich business partners. Would love to know how they're all doing now.

This week's Welsh episode - I agree with PPs, the poor house was anything but! And the poor woman has ruined her face with surgery, all along I was wondering how much it had cost her, what a waste of money!

I'm a bit bored of the new format where it's all about the rich family doing something to help the poor family. Has anyone watched Rich Holiday Poor Holiday? Is it any good?

Just watched this latest episode and the poor lady didn’t appear to be that poor. I have kept horses and it really is a money pit. She’s chosen to keep them therefore decreasing her weekly allowance.

It’s possible she and her husband divorced and she became his carer as you can claim more benefits that way? I stand to be corrected.

The rich lady was very ‘look at me with my designer names on display’! Her daughter seemed more money savvy than she was - £13 for a breakfast when she only had £80 for the week 😱

Also, poor lady didn’t get to live in rich lady’s house.

Rich lady was allowed to keep her own car, usually they have to have the poor persons car.

Also, had poor lady had work - that was quite some pout and yes, as someone else said she did look a bit like Trudie Styler.

Didn’t like this episode at all.
