There's a few more typical Eurovision songs in there than semi one. This semi is more your guilty Eurovision pleasure than your Eurovision winner.

The Ukrainian entry, UK entry and Spanish entry also get a preview. The Ukrainian one is surprisingly good - when I first saw it I thought it was awful but it's really grown on me and the staging looks good.

I think the UK entry is OK but it doesn’t stand out at all IMO.

I really like Hannah Waddington as a presenter.

I really thought that if I'm honest. I was dreading it but it really was excellent.

Tonight's songs were stronger overall but nothing that made me think "this will win." I still have Sweden and Switzerland top.

Denmark stuffed it tonight. Austria was good but didn't come across quite as well on the TV. I don't know if that was the performance or the TV.

But I agree - winner isn't coming from this semi.

Man's Heroes from 2015 is still my all time favourite staging and song. Plus he's a bit gorgeous.
