I didn’t see too much of the tennis (apart from Tony Hadley bizarrely) - Daniil and Stef should be interesting or are they friends again now?

I’ve been keeping track of the footy play off match - ‘our’ team have pulled off an amazing comeback and are on their way to Wembley - DH and DS’s will be happy (more drama to follow probably!)

All in all with this and Rafa’s announcement it’s been a funny old day!

I don't think so Fizzy and Ruud/Rune are not the best of pals either. Can't wait

I missed everything else yesterday, and after Rafa's announcement it all felt a bit flat.

But I'm looking forward to the men's semi finals, though we have to wait til tomorrow. I heard Anne talking about the 'beef' Casper and Holger have- and there was a very diplomatic interview with Casper where he would not really kbe drawn on anything - he did say they were not exactly at the point of sending each other Christmas cards, which I thought was funny.

Anne admitted she wanted it to be a bit of a grudge match- which is annoying really. I like the rivalrys that are forming- but I don't think it's fair to have put Rune in this 'villain' role, and then expect a performance each time he comes on court. Even the smallest incident and they will be 'well, we were waiting for that'.

Not sure about the women's really- haven't paid too much attention- but Ostapenko/Rybakina could be a fun one.

Definitely no love lost between Daniil and Stef. I saw a video on social media of them passing on a bridge and they flat out blanked each other! At least Casper and Holger have that polite Scandi thing going on.

No, I don't think Stef and Daniil will ever do the 'polite' thing, just continue to ignore each other. whereas Casper is too nice and Rune a bit impulsive.
Casper just kept saying how great it was there were so many Scandi players around now, whilst skirting around the supposed 'feud' question. .

I upset myself even more by watching clips of Roger's retirement last night and Rafa saying a part of me will leave with him
