Favourite Doctor/Companion from Doctor Who

Just that really. Who was your favourite doctor and companion (don't have to have travelled together) in the new series - 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13? Or if you have a favourite from the old series, I'd love to hear that too because I've never seen it - no idea where to find it!

Old Doctor Who is all on Britbox.

My favourite companions from the originals were Liz Shaw and Leela but from new Doctor Who it was Donna.

Tennant was my favourite Doctor by some distance.

Companions are more difficult. Tegan, Rose and Donna are probably my top three. But I loved Jack and Sarah Jane and Leela and Ace as well.

Me too! I feel like she's one of the most underrated and least talked about companion.

For the record, my comforts are 11 and Amy although I know people dislike them and Amy def has her flaws but I think she developed 😊

So those are my favs I'd say, but I truly love them all, it's especially hard to choose a favourite companion because they all had such amazing characteristics!

They're so amazing together and I think the reason I love them a lot is because she's the only one in New Who who stays completely platonic. I'm pretty sure there's hints of romance with all the rest! Donna def deserved more than 1 season, s4 was so good.

Donna by a mile although I did quite like Martha. I wasn't a great fan of Amy pond but loved the story line with river song!

I haven't watched it much since Matt Smith left, I didn't like the older guy who took over. Just couldn't warm to him and the writing got a bit daft.

When William Hartnell regenerated into Patrick Troughton I was traumatised and had to stop watching it for a couple of years. My 11 year old self just couldn't cope.

Tom Baker and Romana - his voice was amazing. I saw him on stage as the Inspector in An Inspector Calls and he was brilliant.

I got incredibly lost once the whole crack in the wall / ice soldier/ Matt smith in a tower/ gallifree isn't destroyed/ tennant as a baby thing started and stopped following it. Watched if it was on but I never got back into it.

Donna definitely. And Matt Smith was the best doctor. I feel bad for Jodie that she was given such awful scripts to work with, she could have been brilliant. Worst companion I think is Yaz, the acting was atrocious!
