BBC DOCTORS - No No to Nina but Suni can stay

Thought I’d better start a new thread before today’s episode as the old one was almost full.

At least we’ve got a break from Nina until next week.

I liked Joe, but his daughter Emily was really annoying.

This feels like a dull filler episode.

But no Nina til next week, so all good.

So do we think Dr Sutherland is dodgy or not?

And is this bloke mixing St John's Wort or something with ADs?

I am sitting here saying 'it was murder' in the voice of Taggart.

I thought Dr Sutherland was going to be a Shipman, that would have been dreadful.

I forgot today is Thursday. Though Monday is a 'Kirsty' epsiode, so maybe not so eager for that.

I really wish they would go back to 5 days. It's not going to be any time soon, since there are about 2 months worth of Hope Street in the Friday slot.

I'll admit I thought the same. It would have made the episode probably far more interesting, but wouldn't have been very nice!

Have you noticed Kirsty never appears in any episodes unless they are her storyline? The other come in for the odd one liner at least.

Bear looked worried when Al said unvetted about Nina. I'm really hoping he does a deep dive (that Bear should have done!) and finds something dodgy. Unfortunately I don't think we can rely on the credits thing - Princess was never on and she stayed for AGES. i think the producers just like to mess with our heads with that.

Bingle no, Princess wasn't either- but at least she went eventually Her credits absence gave us hope .

I have read some thing (when looking for info on 'the other spoiler' ) that has me worried though. And I fear we could be stuck with Nina for a while.

I am relying on Al though- Nina has made an enemy of him - and, like when Jimmi was 'in the Clink'- he doesn't give up when he thinks he's right about something. So hopefully he will turn detective and find where she buried the bodies.

At the very least, corners were cut, to get her references through so quickly- if they were done at all.

I'm liking the oblique references regarding spoilers. I don't want to know any of them, I prefer to live life in the fast lane 😂

Just watched yesterday and today. Ruhma was great yesterday but surely there will be an investigation.

Today was a bit of a yawn. I must have missed at the beginning why Daniel was at the other surgery but TBH I don’t really care.

It was nice to see Rhuma to be told to keep her nose out and that they weren't friends. Why the hell does she need to know anything? Management does, it's none of her business!

It does feel a bit like a lot has been happening over the past/next few months.

They are very sledgehammer/nut with storylines, Doctors- so when 'x' suddenly happens, you know that there is probably a reason for it- even if we don't find out for a while.

I knew that cast member was leaving, this is part of the reason for introducing Nina I guess. I hope it isn't part of a wider cull (unless that means Nina and Kirsty).

Especially if we end up with just Kirsty and Nina left, I will definitely stop watching

Over the years, there have been many cast changes and characters I have disliked- and people have come and gone. This few months feels like there have been more than the usual quota of irritating characters and a lot of change.

Yes, that’s been widely talked about but not confirmed for some time hasn’t it.
They've given a reassuring answer to a question asked by a viewer.

I’m going to guess that I think the on location filming I mentioned yesterday is linked to them.

Right….now to watch yesterday’s episode. Or resume watching - I fell asleep (think the last bit I saw was the patient wrapped in a blanket on a sofa) and woke up two hours later 😳

I knew one character was leaving, and I am pleased that they've confirmed that another isn't - but I have just read next week's spoilers and now I am not sure that I want to watch!!
