I must be in the minority too as DH and I watching now and are laughing our heads off at how shit it is!

Its like they gave the producers/directors of Eastenders £10 million to make a low rent rip-off Batman in London.

I've got to the last 20mins, and it's got very far fetched and silly now.

Loved the beginning and the Bond piss take but feel the horrible red room idea had been done before.

But most of all I can't fathom what the villains motive is really. All the " hey fellow sickos here's a place we can live out our sick thoughts " isn't enough to drive him to plan, finance and implement what he did. It's a bit weak.

But always good to see John Luther back tho

It was a bit daft but I'd still watch another one. I did laugh out loud at the "it's not her!". Well, exactly as that's obviously a mannequins legs you're hugging.

I was also distracted by the hair but it made more sense towards the end.

I really wanted the chief to be Harry from spooks but can’t remember if he died at the end of the last series

The first hour or so felt like Luther. I'm not sure what on earth the rest of it was meant to be.

I love Luther and all the series. I really enjoyed the film and kept on wondering what would happen next. Also love how they didn’t drop the ‘wotcha’ saying!

I seriously wonder who the chief was. I was hoping it’d be Alice Morgan but I know she’s dead😂 anyone have any clues as to who they think it’ll be?

The best bit was Idris singing the theme tune at the end. Love that song and he really did it justice.

I loved the series but thought the film
was really shit! No character development, no coherence, just all a bit random and directionless. And yes to the vilain’s weird wig 😂

It felt different to TV series. Less gritty and clever. I ‘enjoyed’ it though, even though it’s very dark and upsetting.

I watched it last night and did enjoy it although some bits were a little on the far fetched side. I might have missed something popping to the loo but were they supposed to have driven all the way to Norway in the shitmobile?

I miss the storyline, the dialogue, the character development.

I wanted to see how Luther investigated Callum's disappearance, how he connected to Callum's Mum, how he became so invested in finding the killer.

But yes, will watch the next one.
