We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of series 4 of Spooks but have agreed to take a short break after this series to go back to our first love - Our Girl and the consensus was to view series 2. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

See CJ's nervous eyes when special forces are mentioned. Gosh, what he knows and Dr Dull doesn't.

CJ is very diplomatic by not telling Jamie who the SF team was.

Ah, here we have Elvis in his very skinny jeans which show off his bandy legs.

He really doesn’t suit these skinny jeans.

This is the moment when Elvis can talk to her in a way that Dr Dull can't. He does understand.

Judy and the finger buffet!

Oh right here comes Judy

Finger buffet time! Here comes Judy. Got to say that Judy looks somewhat older than Dr Dull. Awkward, poor joke.

I think he's entitled to feel a little bit annoyed. He asks her to come to the talk and she barely shows up and then runs off before the buffet.

She has to think on her feet to find an excuse to miss that finger buffet. Thank goodness for a text from Elvis

Elvis has to admit Georgie and Dr Dull will be under close surveillance.

Jamie seems to think the army should fit round him

Jamie does not look happy at all! It turns out he knows she was jilted at the altar and he was a soldier.

The more I rewatch this series, the more sympathetic I become to Dr Dull. If I watch it enough, I'll be begging her to ditch Elvis and marry Jamie.

Dr Dull really doesn’t get it, does he?

I can see his point of view Rhu but I don't have too much sympathy for him.

Rhu, I’m sure Dr Dull is a very worthy person to marry, but I just don’t think he gets Georgie, whereas Elvis always does.

His wishes are not outrageous, he's just met the wrong girl for that kind of life.

It's not wrong of him to want a settled life and yes, Georgie isn't the right one for him. I do feel he is a control freak though.

It is not that I don't sympathise a little Rhu it is just I can't seem to like him

Yep, she met him when she was looking for the opposite of Elvis, but time moves on and she can't fight against the person she really is much longer.

He probably senses there are things going on that she's not sharing with him, so he's trying to bring some control to bear over it, but it's not going to work. Never mind...I reckon Judy moved into the vacant space once Georgie made up her mind.
