Got to say Lala is pretty awful. She's the ultimate hypocrite with regards to James and Randall. Katie is a cold fish. How she and Schwartz lasted so long is amazing.
They were definitely mean girls to Raquel in this episode who let's face it isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

Yeah @lingmerth I did actually find myself feeling bad for Raquel in the beginning of the episode.

They are mean girls they always have been. Ariana however I've never got that vibe from her. The blame needs to be firmly laid at Sandoval. He is so much older than her and she's clearly in a bad place.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that she put up with all the shit from James because she doesn’t know what a normal, functioning relationship is like. That will explain why she’s going after men who are never going to be fully available to her.

Of course it doesn’t explain going after her best friends long term man. I don’t think she’s as dumb as she seems but I also don’t think she’s some Machiavellian psychopath either.

tom Sandoval however. The shitty way he treated Kristen at the end of their relationship and the sheer animosity towards someone he used to love was startling watching it back. The apology he gave Ariana - he clearly doesn’t give a shit whatsoever. I do genuinely believe Lala when she’s calling him a narcissist.

I have a theory
Admittedly it is from my very amateur armchair psychology degree (that I acquired from watching Opera)

It seens to me Raquel is quite jealous of the other girls. Her way of dealing with this is to try to be like them by snogging men they like.
First Katie (Shwartz) , then LaLa (Oliver).

I dont think she actually likes these guys, she just thinks she'll become like the other girls by being with thier men, IYSWIM.

My theory is, her next guy is Sandavol. Whereas the other guys just treated her as a quick snog, Sandavol is so narcissistic he believes she actually likes him.
So, the affair wasn't really a "love affair". Just Raquel wantng any man that belongs to any of the girls and Sandavol narcissism thinking he can have any girl and all girls love him.

in my opinion, it could have easily been Scheana's husbsnd - whats-his-face.
if Sandavol had turned her down, i reckon she would have tried it on with him next.

I find Lala tough to like. I appreciate that she’s honest and direct and straight talking. But I also think she can be a huge bully. Raquel is clearly terrified of her. The aggression in her send it to Darryl video was quite terrifying!

I think that’s possible too. But then she must know that a full affair would go nuclear. Very messed up and she’ll come off worst - girls tend to. Not sure she’s equipped for this.

I think Lala is like a raging injured animal. Dangerous and knows she’s deflecting. And then again I agree with her ‘mistress’ comments tonight. Always the gal that’s labelled - what’s the male version 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do think Lala is terrifying but equally she’s very self aware and holds herself accountable. She fully admits when she goes too far and does always apologise. And she’s on instagram saying right now that she’s aware she’s deflecting her rage from Randall onto this.

Me either. I think the zoom option might tempt her to join in. They’re due to record 23 March. Sandoval will turn up - ego is toooo big to avoid it. I hope they look after Ariana and give her options.

I agree with you about Raquel. There is so many things to unpack to understand why she did what she did.

I completely understand your opinion on Lala and I agree there has been times over the seasons where I've thought "Lala, what the fuck?!"
But for some reason she always wins me back round.
It's a bit like Stassi. She definitely was a bully and truly said some horrible things. But again, I can't help but like her.

Have you watched Katy on WWHL yet. She says this Ep was early Aug and jury is out if that’s when it started or if already underway. She’s also not saying when Schwartz knew.

I suspect that they cannot say whether Schwartz knew because they need t hold it back for the reunion.
