Can you refuse to play along with the Hideaway set up? They should just eat some chocolate dip strand. Massage and then cuddle up and kiss. No need for a cringe lap dance for all of the country to see

I strongly suspect they're told they have to play along with the girl wearing a 'sexy outfit', lapdance, handcuffs etc. All for the viewing figures. I can't imagine they really want to do that on TV with an audience and would much rather have some privacy.

Figure are bad though. I don't think I've ever known anyone tune into love island over the years to watch the hideaway.
