I feel like something deeper is going on with Jessie.

She hasn't seemed herself for the last week... ever since movie night really.
I started to really like her, having been sceptical of her like many, but recently her sunny happy but measured self has retreated and she seems like she's in a bit of personal turmoil?
I almost find it worrying...

It's my belief that Jessie's strategy has gone awry and she hasn't got a plan B.

I believe she was brought in to get with Will and went for it. That she isn't interested in him at all. That the plan was strong coupledom followed by a couple of reverses, the redemption arc and sail on to the winnings. Then dump after a few public appearances [long distance too hard blah blah boo hoo etc].

Her first mistake was over-playing her part on movie night. She's often posited that 'boss-bitch' is something to be aspired to and admired and I reckon that's the persona she was developing. She then compounded that mis-step by wading in on the Casey situation.

Oh damn. Now I'm stuck with Will and I won't win.

I actually think she really likes Will and is upset that he won't make her his girlfriend, cheated on her as soon as she left the villa for 10 mins and that no one believes she's genuine

Yes, same! As soon as I found out that Jessie is a Libra, a lot fell into place but I am a star sign saddo like that!

I also feel really sorry for Will that noone thinks anyone could possibly genuinely fancy him and that anyone who does claim to has sinister intentions...

I'm a Libra too!!!! And I totally get it 😂 I also would fancy Will. He's totally my type. I actually think Jessie is lovely and very insecure and Will doesn't have any problems getting women on the outside.

My instinct is no interest in Will whatsoever apart from thinking it was her best chance of winning.

The change in behavior may be due to difficulty keeping up the act as time goes on and fear that others are on to her 🤔

I'm a Libra and I don't get it

She didn't have to sleep with him if she didn't like him. Not all couples sleep together in the hide-away. Tanya/Shaq did it because they are clearly both very horny people 😂 but Jessie didn't have to do it

A poster above said about Sanam being really uncomfortable in the hide-away. I don't think she's a "put on a thong and lick chocolate sauce off each other on camera" type of girl and I also thought she looked really uncomfortable throughout and the next morning. I really felt sorry for her

I think Sanam is just more sensible and down to earth than most of the usual contestants and was probably feeling uncomfortable knowing her friends and family would be watching...

But they volunteer to be in the show! Not one of them goes in not knowing exactly what to expect. They want to parade around almost naked, for weeks, in front of several million TV viewers. They expect to share a bed in a mixed dormitory with a complete stranger. They have agreed to swiftly form ‘a connection’ in the villa - and to do whatever the producers require by way of performing ‘being in a relationship’, including the medieval ritual of going to the Hideaway.

It’s impossible to feel sorry for any of them unless something truly unanticipated transpires. They’ve asked for it all.

I dunno. It's one thing to imagine that you'll be fine with all of that, thinking it's glamorous and worthwhile. Completely another to actually be there and be expected to parade around in a grim nylon thong in a brightly lit plastic sex cave. Sanam very much looked like she was pretending to be enthusiastic and say all the right things, but I think the reality of it must have been a bit of a painful shock.

Didn't she mention the lap dance? I don't see how producers can force you into that?

I still dunno how they decide who's going in the hideaway I'm sure some want to go into it but seems like they get a text and suddenly everyone is shouting the same names.

Actually - that might be a stumbling block for a middle aged LI show. People of the islanders’ generation are accustomed to living their entire lives in public and seem to accept a level of continuous exposure that would honestly finish me off …

I reckon longevity would improve if you had two similar shows with enough differential material that alternate years.

Just finished last two episodes. I thought Casey was a pretty good sport at the challenge unlike Ron and Lana who seem to rate themselves pretty highly. I agree Jessie seems to be struggling I wonder if she's not use to being disliked? So is struggling with the group questioning her?
Agree the group seem more awkward with each other than any previous year. Casey, will and Tom get on well as do sammy, Jessie and Claudia (until she left) but other that that no one seems to really like each other
