Red Dwarf is my number one, but also love the IT Crowd and Taskmaster.

Therealjudgejudy · 28/02/2023 11:58

In this order

Agatha Raisin... love it!
Death in paradise...didn't realise it was so popular
Darling Buds of May...the original series
Benidorm...Kenneth is hilarious 😂

Two Doors Down. Only discovered last year and I absolutely love it! Got my mum hooked too!

Me and my mum love this too! It's definitely not as popular as it deserves to be!!

Oh Not sure why I didn't mention four in the bed, dinner date and come dine with me!
I have a preference for couples come dine though!

elliejjtiny · 28/02/2023 13:09

Goodnight sweetheart

MaggieMagpie357 · 28/02/2023 13:20

Friday Night Dinner - during the third lockdown at the start of 2021 we started watching comedy at 10pm every night before bed instead of the news, did wonders for our mood!

Also The Royle Family, repeats of Would I Lie To You on Dave and Friends (although it's very dated now, I still have some favourite episodes though!)

Firefly2023 · 28/02/2023 13:21

West Wing, Benidorm, Friends, Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, Heartland and Gilmore Girls.

Ilovedthe70s · 28/02/2023 13:25

Buffy

Igenix4 · 28/02/2023 13:25

Gossip girl, the original series, not the remake which is horrific and I refuse to watch it

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 28/02/2023 13:27

Hetty Wainthropp and Jonathan Creek on Britbox. Or my ancient DVD of Crime Traveller...

MrsJessePinkmann · 28/02/2023 13:29

SATC

Mama2six · 28/02/2023 13:30

Random but, Luther, The bill, on the buses, birds of a feather and only fools and horses

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 28/02/2023 13:31

Mum initial chemo - Detectorists
Covid infection 1 - Gavin and Stacey
Covid infection 2 - Happy Valley - ok , not really that comforting, but it was only 3 weeks ago and I wanted to know what all the fuss was about.

But I could watch G&S, Detectorists and Car Share forever. Also Superstore. I guess I like stuff which is more about relationships than the story.

maimeo · 28/02/2023 15:44

Watched Heartbeat at 8pm every single night of Covid lockdown from March 2020, even recorded if we had a family zoom at that time. Soooo comforting 😂

LadyR77 · 28/02/2023 15:46

Schitt's Creek, Father Ted, Superstore, Gone Fishing

FrequentFlyer96 · 28/02/2023 16:00

Friends, Gilmore Girls, Motherland, SATC

doublechocolatedigestives · 28/02/2023 16:04

FRIENDS! I was getting bullied in high school at 14 and this was my favourite show. I'd come home from a horrible day at school to watch this comedy which made me laugh and really cheered me up. I absolutely love it and am a big fan still at 41. It always cheers me up

mrsnjw · 28/02/2023 16:05

The Royle Family

CertainUncertain · 28/02/2023 16:07

@TellSomeoneElse
@jay55

Have you tried Parenthood (the show, not the movie)? There's lots of cast crossover with FNL.

And, as a bonus, for Gilmore Girls fans, has Lauren Graham playing one of the central characters. It's a top comfort watch.

senua · 28/02/2023 16:08

Add another one to the Detectorists fan club.Smile

NecklessMumster · 28/02/2023 16:08

'This is Us' I've only got 2 episodes left to watch and I'm putting it off as I don't want it to end.

Wishimaywishimight · 28/02/2023 16:09

Dawson's Creek.
