Why didn’t they show Martin’s personality as it seemed he had one along with a sense of humour and a lot of self composure. He was edited unless he only relaxed on the way out the door.

Fairly dull episode. Bombshells are average can't really see them doing much. Claudia seems genuine and lovely I feel sorry for her. Recoupling was obvious. Martin seemed poorly edited we didn't even get to hear him after his exit! When can we start voting them off!!!

Deliberate set up by the producers. It was guaranteed Martin would go as long as the new girl didn’t go for him herself. Makes it look like some degree of progress and no need for a vote for a couple more days at least. Boring 😴

I’m not watching on Sunday, can’t beat to sit through Claudia weeping all night while all the girls parrot “what’s meant to be will be” or tell her how pretty she is.

I’ll be back if there is a Twitter challenge though or a public vote where the islanders actually see who isn’t popular

Just caught up up on the last couple of nights comments on the previous thread and this one.

Just a reminder - there was a video going around the news websites in the first week showing Will with a bag of white powder on what looks like a lads holiday somewhere hot. He has slept with > 100 girls I’m sure. It seems apparent to me his tik tok is a separate “Farmer Will” persona to his real life dickhead party boy druggie antics. Similar to that Francis Bourgeois train guy who actually wears expensive designer clothes and goes out clubbing to oontz oontz house music.

The FT article previously linked makes it clear Will is all about developing a media career. He wants a tv show. Itv have put him in the island with the hope of getting a new tv personality ready to sign up - his TikTok content acting as evidence of how popular it could be.

The US girl who shared her Will stories on TikTok. Very pretty, young. Will has big number of followers and lots of clout. Many young women dream of social media fame and influencer lifestyle. He sells his Farmer Will character as the real him - a nice guy - with the added appeal of being able to boost your social media status if you get with him. Invites you to the Farm to see his animals. Treats you like shit.

I watched till 10 when the newbies recouped and switched over to The Last Leg on Ch4 - it was pretty obvious after that Martin was gonna go and just checked the thread to confirm - not interested in hearing the rest of the declarations of love.

Im close to giving up on it and that’s saying something, boring, predictable & scripted.

It was pretty insulting to the audience to go through all the re-coupling rigmarole just to send Martin home. When it’s obvious the show is so tightly scripted - they should have been able to organise something worthy of a Friday night.

Disappointing.
