The new girl won't pick Shaq - it's patently obvious that he's obsessed with Tanya. It's very sad, actually - I think he's going to take a very long time to get over her. Toxic people can often be very intoxicating.

I think the new girl will pick Casey and we'll be hearing more of Claudia'a angry voice.

I feel the bombshells are coming in a bit late for a connection they may be a get out of jail free card though...Shaq is smitten I fear, Samie is showing her age when 'dealing' with a flirty Tom I think he was playing the game, keeping his options open before he fell..he's kissed a few female frogs and spooned a girl whilst half asleep most probably but he seems like a genuine person (The way he comforted Shaq shows a good heart) Liv is playing to the cameras as the 'actress' she is and it's becoming apparent why at 27 she hasn't had a relationship..she's selfish and self absorbed, her insecurities are a smokescreen. Tanya wanted her cake and eat it, she's gaslighting Shaq or just playing the game, which they've all signed up for to be honest..Casey is there for exposure and likes. Ron and Kai have enough intelligence to see through the fake people and say, Lana can see it but won't say because of girl code..Sunam and Kai make a genuine looking couple and I like them together, no tv drama. Martin and Maxwell have been used and are seeing the light (But understand the game so aren't going to be upset at the end of the day)

On the assumption that the newbies won't want to assail an "established" couple this late on (though of course they all have faultlines, but some are more active than others) and a further assumption that they won't want to new boy to bounce out that quickly, then I think it might have to be newbies followed by girls choice

Lana will choose Ron
Jessie will (almost certainly) choose Will (sealing their story arc)
Sanam will choose Kai

Tanya will choose Shaq (unfortunately) unless there's an upset before she gets to choose
Samie will (probably) choose Tom
Claudia will (probably) choose Casey, unless head turned by newbie, because they do have a laugh and seem to get each other
Olivia will choose Maxwell, faut de mieux

So newbies have to get to choose early, and put two wild cards on

Lana really annoyed me last night by telling Olivia that she would back her, why will none of the girls just tell her to fuck right off.

They're probably scared of her. Zara and Tanyel ended up leaving after crossing her. I'm still annoyed about Tanyel going - she was the most interesting person in there.

Yes Tanyel would definitely have said something to Olivia, the reunion show will be interesting.

It was definitely a shame Zara left - she could have been Maura 2.0.

But Tanyel wasn't a nice person. She was awful to Aaron and Ellie, I'm glad she went.

Oh, i totally agree that she's allowed to take as long as she needs, but it's starting to turn whiny and the same things are being combed over and over again. It would get wearing.

New Girl chooses Kai and Casey for a date. FFS

Some of the 'clips' were ridiculous only a few seconds long.

Casey does not care about Claudia the only person he loves is Tom (their bromance is quite sweet)

Lana loves Ron, he likes her enough to see it to the end.

Samie and Tom both love themselves so it works quite well. I think Tom finds Samies indifference refreshing. Samie showed herself to be quite stroppy last night. Tom has grown on me as he seems to be a good friend.

Olivia is hilarious she needs to stay in for entertainment purposes. She genuinely can not understand why all the boys are not falling at her feet.

Tanya is not coming across well, she would be best to leave at this point.

Jessie will forgive Will as she wants to win, I don't think Will is that invested but think he will see it through.

I really like Kai and Sanam id like to see them win.

It would be good if the new girl choose Shaq, Martin or Maxwell.

God how I wish new girl had picked Maxwell and Shaq for dates. I get why she hasn't, but she'd have got my vote just for her outstanding contribution to fantastic TV. This is why I feel the producers aren't as involved as some think.

That last comment is interesting. I'm one of those who believe the show is vastly over-produced but yes: I simply can't see a reason why they'd have the new girl pick Kai.

Spot on! I think Tom and Samie are not used to 'grafting' but have been given the opportunity to think about what they really want...and tested as to what they are willing to compromise on to get it. I don't buy the Jessie/Will thing now. He was a big player on the outside and why not? He's young and he got away with it..I don't think she's as genuine as she makes out to be though. She's been through LI before, the geographical logistics make it pretty tricky for them to test the water outside the villa, which they would need to do if genuine. A front could be shown for the sake of media fame however. Kai may seem 'boring' in comparison but irl he has to be responsible and stay somewhat wholesome and measured, hence him not allowing himself to be goaded bu Olivia

That would be a first wouldn't it?! I think at this point he's still open, it's still early days for him and Sanam. If he's switched on, he'd refuse, as this would seal him the win I reckon. Probably not allowed to refuse a date... but closing her down would probably work towards the win.

@TellingBone sorry, my last comment was for you.

I do think the producers meddle with stuff, but I don't think they tell them who to pick or go for. I also don't think they make them say things like PP suggested, such as telling Olivia to pretend to forget Kai's name. Nobody is going to say things that make them look awful!

@TellingBone I don't think Kai would have the option to refuse.

It may have already been mentioned that in a previous villa a bombshell came in and nobody was interested in her.

The boys were told in no uncertain terms to play the game and pull her for chats.

The only person I recall refusing to even consider playing the game was Luca when Danica chose him to recouple and he basically was having none of it. Clearly even producers couldn't persuade him. But that was Luca all round.

Going on a 'date' with a newbie is hardly onerous, it's a hi blah blah scripted soundbites etc, pretty sure you can make your feelings clear if you're not interested, sniffing and picking your nose would do it 😉

Does anyone think Claudia and Casey are playing a game? He has no interest whatsoever in her and while I think she likes him more, I don’t think she is thst much into him?

He’s very eager to show the new woman that he’s free to get to know him. Pity he was chosen really and surprising too as he’s come across as like slime. But I’m well aware I’m in my 40s and not the target audience for the prog so does he come across well to twenty somethings? Do they think he’s just flirty?

Just caught up with last night’s episode. I don’t buy they choose the clips they want, why on earth would they choose Olivia’s when literally no one cares what happened in Casa? (Kai is out and Maxwell was there anyway so wouldn’t be surprised).

I can’t believe I’m starting to like Kai, especially his lack of reaction to Olivia. Hilarious she told Ron she didn’t want to talk it out whereas she pestered the life out of Kai when he said the same. I like his partnership with Sanam, she seems nice and non-dramatic.

Olivia as the oldest girl appears to rule the roost in that villa, she needs to go.

And Tanya. Funny how the irritating little girly squeals have vanished since Casa, her mask is slipping and her behaviour is actually disturbing. I hope Shaq is done, we need a nice new bombshell for him so he can do an Amber Gill.

I’m quite liking Tom and Samie at the moment, Tom seems to have matured a bit recently.

I’d almost forgotten Ron and Lana exist, they’ve barely had any air time recently.

Can’t stand Casey, he is fake as. Bet his head turns. Not really bothered either way by Claudia although she wasn’t quite as dramatic as some of the other girls at movie night.

Strangely he boys seem to be giving each other good advice and look out for each other. Martin hasn’t been left out as much by them as Sanam has by the girls, one of them even asked who her clip was about!

Jessie is a different person to when she was in the Aussie version. The fake crying is really boring now. Think she will hang on to Will though for the fame and opportunity to relocate to the UK for ‘work’. Will is slipping into and out of character constantly, he annoys me.
