Except Molly Mae did find love. They didn't win the competition, but they've been together >3 years now, and the first pix of their new baby were released in the last couple of days.

Now, not everyone is going to fall for a fellow resident in any enduring way, but a big part of the reason MollyMae and Tommy are so bankable is because it seems they did

It seems only 5mins ago that we were wondering where the "connection" between him and Olivia had sprung from as it all seemed v contrived and convenient.

With Sanam, I don't think he'll be in the bottom three.....

Kai has already said he currently doesn't feel as much for Sanam as he did for Oiivia though. I actually thought he looked really happy and content with Olivia.

I think Tom was pretty honest with Samie about what happened. I don't get why she got more wound up after meeting Lydia. The only reason I'd trust Tom less than Will in a room full of girls is as Will wouldn't get any interest. Never thought I'd say that!

Yes-I totally take your point-they did have an enduring relationship which is why they were so popular-plus the huge earning potential after.

It just seems now it's more about the latter...

But I def feel like the villa is lacking any genuine connections that stick this year.

Also agree with the Lydia love above-she seems a brilliant, gorgeous, composed girl. Would have liked to see her in from the start.

Love Cynthia and think she could have won if things had gone differently.
Maya is stunning. Even in those dresses she still looks amazing.
I think Jessie is genuine. and I think it was very telling last night when she referenced the hideaway. She's so upset because they slept together which makes the betrayal seem worse.

I seriously don’t understand how there is any public support for Tom left. Since day dot he has been snogging girls left right and centre when he already had a different one on the go, supposedly to ‘test connections’ and all this bollocks. Let’s be real - he is an absolute player and has no interest in settling down. I feel sorry for samie but I love that she’s not just accepting this bullshit. Also - he was right in there when the Lana and ron drama was going down, basically saying how wrong Ron’s behaviour was (which I totally agree it was) but I feel like he has gone way beyond what ron was doing at this point! Pot kettle

Olivia and Tanya's egos are the cause for them being how they are. They will now enjoy the game of trying to make Shaq and Kai come back to them. Perhaps Tanya and Olivia should pair up!

Just caught up. Olivia is hilarious but I don't think she means to be! Samie and Tom are both the most beautiful but neither have much personality. I thought Kai handled Olivia's nuttiness quite well. Isn't he a teacher? I thought Sanam managed it well too. Olivia will get bored of Max he's such a child. Claudia has been pretty relaxed about Casey which I think is fine as they had only known each other a few days. If Jessie is acting she definitely deserves to win she's fantastic. Tanya seems to think she can choose between Shaq and Martin, I hope Shaq tells her where to go and leaves her with boring Martin!

@DDoOneRon I feel like I read somewhere he teaches Science (def shortage subject) and PE

I think he comes across well overall but i do wonder about ppl in some professions going on Love Island and then going back to teaching/social work etc.

Regarding Kai - I wonder if people enter LI as a last throw of the dice and genuinely believe they will not have to return to their old job once the show is over? I can’t really see him becoming part of the TV show merry go round - he’s too dull!

Having said that, I don’t think we’ve seen him doing anything noticeably shameful, have we? Few snogs and some stilted, scripted ‘conversation’. So he may not have killed his regular salary.
