Yes , it's on a Saturday night with Mo Gilligan as the presenter , instead of a Tuesday or a Wednesday! No idea why.
Harry Styles, Lizzo , Wet leg , Stormzy amongst others will be ( miming) or even singing with , maybe , some controversial musings not seen since Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox presented it in the 80s ! Will I know any of them ? A few , maybe , but not the actual songs.
I'm sure Mr Styles will win a few. Harry's house isn't a bad album tbf, although I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Music isn't like it was in ' my day'. Of course ..

I turned it on near the start to hear someone being introduced as Sam Capaldi. I thought maybe it was another cousin of Lewis Capaldi! My son confirmed it was definitely Lewis, switched it off when he finished singing, he was great.

I'm still not sure what the point of the brits is. 30 years ago I watched it with my dad. Both of us were disgruntled, but for different reasons.
Tonight I watched it with my dc, who are 30 years younger. I liked Fontaines dc and wl. They liked no one. Dc said Harry styles makes corporate, supermarket music. There's hope for him yet.
