Tom and Will are going to stick with the villa girls.

Will is going to confess to Jessie early doors and all will be forgiven. Tom, however (based on the kiss with Ellie) won't mention a thing and Samie will crucify him on movie night.

Ron and Shaq will also stick but Kai will recouple. Lana and Ron are heading for a win, following their "journey", Shaq will leave the villa and Kai will continue to be dull and will get voted off pretty soon.

Lana, Jessie, Claudia and Samie will all stick. Olivia will recouple, but will manage to make Kai recoupling the most devastating thing to happen to her.

I'm on the fence about Tanya and Casey. I think both could swing either way.

Tbh I'm very puzzled about why people are so puzzled that a black man on the show actually likes a black woman, and must have been coerced into said choice by the producers🙄 Judging by the number of black babies that get born every year, clearly there is a natural attraction in real life between the two.

It's more puzzling that more white men don't couple up with black women on the show. Maybe they've been told not to as I see many of these pairings/attractions in real life

Martin has a good job with a laid back "swag" - that is generally attractive.

Black people on the show seem very impressed by people’s jobs.

Particularly spot on about Olivia. She’ll be moaning in her drawling voice about how she can’t believe Kai would jump ship and how awful that is and oh right yeah I almost forgot, isn’t it good I connected with someone, because I’d look a right idiot.

Did Will and Layla actually snog, for real? The filming was odd, first they covered their faces with their hands, then we were shown the back of her head. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Will - told by the producers to fabricate this infidelity for the sake of the narrative - wasn’t keen on actually snogging anyone, so they just faked it. Sad for her though, because after that it was almost certainly too late for her to pair up with any of the other villa boys.

And Casey could not be less interested in Cynthia. He can’t find anything convincing to say about her and she’s doing all the work - he couldn’t even be bothered to get up for the snog. Another producer-faked ‘romance’. As someone said above, it looks like Casey’s job is to take her back into the villa, where she’ll couple up with a heartbroken Shaq.

Obviously the producers need ‘journeys’, and manufactured outrage for movie night - but the machinations are a bit too obvious this year.

I'm finding Lydia quite manly looking and her voice is giving me Mrs Doubfire vibes. Something is just a bit off about her. Tom is nuts, as much as I think Samie's a bit of a snake, he obviously doesn't see that, and she's stunning to look at imo.

Tbh, all the new women are giving me the ick. It's the desperation... I'd find that such a turn off. The boys however, seem to be oblivious. It really is like they've been drugged/hypnotised/offered an incentive to entertain these girls.

Will's back pedalling has infuriated me even more. He didn't just have a cheeky kiss, it was a full on perve fest and probably a bit of undercover action. I hope Jessie finds out sooner rather than later.

As far as I can see, the other islanders are keen to split Olivia and Kai, hmmm I wonder why? I think Kai actually really does like Olivia but is so weak he's let other people get in his ear. I also think Kai being unpopular with the public has thrown Olivia, not purely as she has her eye on prize, that there's a side we're seeing that she isn't. Agree with PP though, Maxwell looks like a total stoner.

Lucky Escape Lynda has just gone for a free holiday it seems. Undoubtedly the wisest women there.

And it does seem a waste of casting effort to bring in people they’ve already decided to ignore once there. Now it looks as if only showing Lynda as a bikini wearing body with no head in the ‘meet the new’ photos was not entirely accidental. Maybe a Freudian slip. But yeah - perhaps she will forget the humiliation and just remember the lovely sunshine?

Far more humiliation to be had by pimping yourself out to that bunch imo. I think Lynda will look back on this and breathe a huge sigh of relief.

The desperation is so off putting and degrading. I’m really over Tanya I hate her sing song flirting voice and her screeching. Martin is horrendous and doesn’t seem to be that in to her. I think she’s one of those people - like Casey - who always has one eye on the horizon for someone better and more.

Casey is awful. He’s got 90s boy and vibes and the behaviour to match. I can imagine him in Marbs wandering along the beach with his floaty white linen shirt billowing out behind him as he looks at reflections of himself in every single pair of sunnies that pass him. No one is ever going to love him the way he loves himself.

The teen with Liv - what is she thinking? I liked Liv but I have to agree that she is very dull.

This really hasn’t been a great season. They are all so dull. Interesting too that apparently their Insta numbers are nowhere near those of earlier contestants.

I’m a bit sad for Faye and Teddy they seemed a good match in the end. She always seemed horribly insecure to me and he seemed to get that and bring out a better side to her - movie night aside 😳

Ive been on the fence about Lana but now think that maybe she saw something in Casey that we didn’t. 🤢

@Lemonande yes me too! She was a firecracker and he was so calm on the show. Opposites attract I guess!

@CrkdLttrCrkdLttr it definitely looked like they snogged to me! I don't think the producers give that level of direction rather the contestants self produce. They know what will get them air time, especially in casa. Most of them are in there for the fame so that's the priority over actual love.

At least we know Lynda’s name, the lads at Casa I can think of are Maxwell, Ryan and Martin other than that a boxer, a bloke with some dodgy tattoos (although this could even be the same guy) and another one. Most of the contestants have really poor small talk and even worse flirting, so unless they are straying there’s not much to show. I would like fewer girls and boys in Casa who don’t sleep in the beds as the originals to create a competitive nature. The format now has them paired up on first night and those with the faithfuls might as well just sunbathe and enjoy there break.

I actually think Ron was pretty astute regards Olivia when he was talking to Kai. But I think the main thing that has changed for Olivia is being in the bottom 3 and realising it’s because of Kai. I can’t believe she’s talking about it so openly as it makes clear her reasons for being there.

She’s such an actress. I hate that coy little girl lost act that she pulls. You can just tell she’s slipping in to character. And then when she makes all the little passive aggressive comments under her breath that the person is meant to hear (like when she said to Sammie it all makes sense now) it’s all done in such a way that she can’t really be called out on anything. She’s very manipulative.

He and Olivia made such an elegant pair when they were chatting about her ‘relationship’ with Kai! His speech and body language were much less calculated and much more relaxed and grown up when he was talking to her. They’re so much older than several of the others, and if they’d been allowed (or if we were ever shown) a normal casual conversation it might have been interesting. (In the real world he might date but probably wouldn’t be settling down with a ring girl, but whatever.)

Olivia has been disappointing though, given that she obviously considers herself a great prize in the outside world. Perhaps that’s why she doesn’t appear to have developed any personality or conversation at all. Or perhaps it’s just the heat sapping her wit?

‘Calculated’ was the wrong word, as that conversation was obviously … arranged by the producers to push forward the Olivia narrative. So the content was pre-determined. But he did seem to address her as an adult - which he doesn’t in the conversations we’ve seen with Tanya where all he’s doing is saying what she wants to hear.

Would love to see the real relationships/ friendship s forming.

It's my husband's 50th birthday today. Can't believe it clashes with the recoupling!

They did the same to Jack last year but maybe they aren’t willing to play the game and forget the producers control and edit them like puppets.

I made this comment a few weeks ago but I specifically remember Billy saying last year that he was kept away from Gemma for 2 days because the producers didn’t want them to continue a conversation they had had on camera without it being filmed. I think their time in there must be so unnatural and inauthentic. That isn’t how people interact in the real world and it’s showing more and more in the edits.

Also I thought I heard Shaq slip up and refer to something he said or did yesterday but we were being led to believe it was earlier on in that day?

I don't think Martin was told to go for Tanya. He knew she was the weakest link and his way into the villa. Simple as that.
