Is it weird to say no game spoilers? I've not played the game so don't know the game story line

The 1st 2 episodes were really good

But wow. Ep 3 is amazing.

I actually cried over characters I'd known for less than 1 hour

Just in case anyone else has been looking out for the BTS documentary 'The Making of TLOU' it's on Sky Atlantic tonight at 9pm in the usual slot.

I've really enjoyed this series and I actually quite liked the abrupt end with Ellie just deciding to trust Joel even though she had doubts. The only episode I didn't like was Ellie's back story one just as I found it a bit dull and her friend was a tad annoying. Obvs the birth scene was a bit silly but a realistic protracted birth would have taken to long so I can see why they did it like that. Other than that I thought it was grand.

Am I the only one who doesn't care? I'm watching a TV show, not a documentary. So much shit is ridiculous and unrealistic that's relevant to the plot, a long, drawn-out vaginal birth that has nothing to do with anything really didn't take my notice

I didn’t care! I also didn’t think it was that far from being potentially realistic to be honest. Every birth is different and all that jazz. I mean we are watching a zombie attack a woman in labour, nothing is particularly realistic there is it. Who knows how your body might respond to that threat when it’s in the middle of birthing a baby. Plus she might have had other previous births and this one “flew out”. All sorts of reasons for me ultimately not caring that it wasn’t exactly like my own vaginal birth 😂

The bit that annoyed me was when she put the knife down!

I thought the game was utterly superb BUT it meant I sort of knew what was going to happen (a bit like the US House of Cards as I’d watched the original as a child).

I might hold off on playing part 2 until I’ve seen the TV show

You will be waiting a while. Bella Ramsey was on Jonathan Ross on Saturday and said they won’t start filming before the end of this year, possibly early next year, so the series likely won’t be broadcast until end ‘24 or early ‘25.

Just popping in to say that, although there were no zombies present at the birth of my second child and I did have medical assistance, apart from these minor differences that scene felt very similar to my experience of childbirth - my daughter just... appeared on the bed and gave the midwife a right bloody turn (she had just told me it wasn't time to push) 🤣

I'm watching now so following but think I'm on episode 5 so will catch up after I've watched!

I just finished the series and thought it was fantastic. Tempted to watch it all again!
