I cannot believe I hadn’t clocked that Nevison is Bob!!! That film was my sex education in the early 90s. Watched the clip posted above and couldn’t help but wonder if the lovely, wholesome JN has ever watched Rita, Sue and Bob too 😆

Now that we have discussed TLR / JN’s teeth in such detail, can we turn our attention to CC / SL’s hair?

A newcomer to HV, since the 2nd of Jan I have watched 24 episodes of Last Tango in Halifax, and 17 of HV.

In all but one (when Caroline must have been to the hairdressers) I have been silently screaming “get your fringe cut!”.

WHY does her hair always cover her lovely eyes? The side bits obscure half her face? How can she even see all these number plates that the remembers and recognises?

People’s hair in their eyes drives me mad!

I’m adjusting my final scene to Alison passing the tire iron to Clare who brains TLR with it, right after he says ‘Ryan would of come with me’ and while getting up off the floor and simultaneously wiping blood splatter off her face, Catherine says ‘WOULD. HAVE.’ and kicks him for good measure.

I am rewatching in prep for Sunday. Still only up to the start of ep4 Series 2, so need to put some work in!

I keep finding bits I didbt notice originally. SW is one clever lady.

I love messy hair ! I don't think Catherine would look right with neat, tidy hair .

Her mind's not very tidy though , she's become colder and harder this series . Still like her though, roll on Sunday .

I keep coming back to what PPs said about maybe the copper he's after is actually Ann then I remember the pure venom in him when he spat WHO at Neil when he mentioned Catherine.

I think maybe I've watched too much Line of Duty but I did think it would be good it building up to him going and then Catherine opening the door to JustEats then him turning up at Ann's who will probably be all alone as that's the way it's gone so far!

There's no way Ann can get just eat delivered up there.... too remote 😃

Agree with Eyes - I am fine with untidy hair, but not hair that obscures vision or gets in eyes/ mouth.

I can feel it, for heaven's sake!
