I do feel the “brief” in GBM has become more of a hindrance than anything. When it started, I don’t think they had anything like this, the focus was more on seasonality and sourcing good local produce etc. The props can get a bit much IMO.
This year does seem to have gone off the rails a bit in the last couple of weeks. It’s not much fun to watch when the chefs are getting it so wrong.

The vegetarian options are a bit dispiriting.

Why do they keep having veggie guest judges?
