Theres's never a right age to be jumping on the beds/furniture in someone else’s house.

Thank you!!!

I don’t agree with the children running around the house and jumping on the furniture either, I thought calling a child ‘embarrassing’ was nasty.

Imo the children are feral, which is their parent’s fault, because every time they do something wrong their mother turns a blind eye and does that stupid giggle and their father cba. Their behaviour is terrible at times so their parents should be embarrassed by it. They’re not though, they just keep chucking material things at them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2023 20:27

Agree no kids should be jumping on beds or running about in someone else's house

Poor estate agent did look scared

The poster called the little girl embarrassing for jumping on a bed at her age (12). She wasn’t specifically referring to them being naughty. I completely agree that none of them should have been jumping on furniture, singling one child out is unfair imo.

I have decided to cancel the series link for recording it now . Its so staged. Cracks me when they put their names on the screen when they are sitting together talking . As if we don't know who they are.

Sporty2022 · 31/01/2023 17:41

But how would the family even pass the immigration stage to move to Florida? Why would the USA allow them to move there? What skills do they have ?

How would they pay for medical insurance just for starters? It’s expensive to live out there too, without as many benefits as here.

MrsMoastyToasty · 31/01/2023 18:03

It looks like Sue has swapped her addiction to childbirth for an addiction to spending money on luxuries.

2anddone · 31/01/2023 22:22

Watched with my dc (17 and 14) this evening even they could tell it had been done for content! Ds thinks the estate agent was actually an actor and that channel 5 were clearly paying for the meal as why else would they have ordered all those challenge plates of food! Dd (who is away with the fairies most of the time) spotted the disappearing and reappearing pool and commented on the fact you didn't see them go to Disney but they did on their instagram when they were there!

Of course channel 5 paid for the meal and holiday. We all know that. Otherwise they would have nothing to film.

Makes you wonder how much budget ch5 has to spend thousands on flights and holidays

I'm watching the last episode of More kids than Cash. Christenings, holidays, birthday parties presumably all paid for?

E5

When a teenager goes off the rails they take the family on an adventure towards he gorge in France to help him get back on track

How about spend some time asking him what the issue is

OP posts:
EyesOnThePies · 05/02/2023 20:33

Yep, my first tactic dealing with teen problems is to book a holiday for 14 people.

Over the years this has cost our averaged sized family £435,000 so unless Josh sees the light in miraculous style they will swiftly bankrupt themselves, the production company, all their sponsors and possibly the UK.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/02/2023 20:48

I haven't seen it yet. Will watch tomorrow

OP posts:
TheFairyCaravan · 05/02/2023 21:23

It’s such a load of bullshit. They did this holiday to France in May/June time as a top secret thing. It was only leaked out because the camp site put it on their social media.

No one who has a teenager, who is going off the rails, thinks “ooh let’s take them on holiday”. You get together and do something about it. The series is so utterly contrived it’s pathetic.

theblackradiator · 05/02/2023 22:05

why weren't nowelll & Josh's t-shirts wet at the end when the got of the canoe they'd both just fell in the water 5 mins earlier but arrived back completely dry.
The next trip will be with the girl that failed her driving test driving route 66 across the US to give her more driving confidence. hope Sue's not reading this as she'll be on the phone to Channel 5 right now so get it booked and sorted.
this series is ridiculous

Their T-shirts weren't wet because, in reality, the rapid where they fell in was still a couple of hours away from the end of the river trip. It was also about 30 degrees, so they would have dried out pretty quickly. The editing does make it look closer though, to be fair Smile

louise5754 · 06/02/2023 09:18

Noah: Be honest with us do any of your friends carry knives, drugs, do stuff like that?

Josh: No, none of them.

Noah: Non of them?

Josh: No, none of them.

Noah: I mean would you tell us if they did?

Josh: Yes

Come on whether this conversation was scripted or not it's not something a 13 year old lad would want broadcasting on tv.

How embarrassing for him?

Imagine if he said yea. The school would have him in asking for names. Probably involve the police.

I hate how they show their kids most upsetting / stressful moments just do they have something to film.

I'm sick of seeing the clip where Sue jumps out of the pool and they show the ambulance.

MuddlingThroughLife · 06/02/2023 10:05

The whole last episode was literally about nothing.

RainbowConnection1 · 06/02/2023 10:33

I've just watched the visit to Florida and had to switch off when the kids went feral in the houses they were viewing. How utterly embarrassing!! I also don't understand why they took all the kids on the viewings anyway.

cushioncovers · 06/02/2023 11:16

I think this family has had its 15 minutes of fame tbh, they don't seem to have anything interesting to offer the audience anymore.

No, especially if they have resorted to faking stuff for the programme. None of them are good actors either 🤦‍♀️🤪

cushioncovers · 06/02/2023 12:29

I think the only thing of interest about this family is literally the number of children they have had, other than that they are completely unremarkable and have very little of interest to offer a tv audience. On the flip side I find the Duggars in the US fascinating because of their beliefs and lifestyle.
