The magpie clue was a reference to the Steps song " one for Sorrow". The bit where she was cutting up the pieces of paper there was half a heart which is reference to the song she had with H called" half a heart". And the bit about adding together to make 26 is the song 5678.

And if you watch really closely at the bit with the paper/scissors, she definitely does the Tragedy dance move (the one that looks a bit like this 🤷‍♀️ and they circle them round). Very subtle and quick but absolutely deliberate. Case closed - knitting is Claire 🤣🤣

Admitted to one of my colleagues today that I have a masked singer notebook.

She was 50% impressed and 50% absolutely pissing herself at me 😂

I originally thought Phoenix was David Tennant but I agree that it's Ricky Wilson from Kaiser Chiefs.

Still think Otter is Suranne Jones - the way she says some words is a giveaway IMO.

And Martin and Shirley Kemp for Cat and Mouse. Mouse is the stronger singer.

I’m sure cat and mouse is NOT Emma and Jade. Emma’s voice is much softer than that. And it’s not in the spirit of the masked singer to just say the name in one of the clues. Martin and Shirley is a great guess - she was in a Spice Girls video!!

But it will be 35 in January

I’ve quickly read the thread and noticed Amber Riley was mentioned. I haven’t quite finished this episode yet, but if it is here anywhere, I’ll recognise her voice.

She has a very distinctive voice. She played Mercedes Jones in Glee
