Can't see a thread. What is this shite?

There were only four in the group with Amanda so if they'd murdered one it wouldn't be long before suspicion turned on the other three. I don't think the traitors would take that risk.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 14/12/2022 11:27

Thank you. I think the murder in clear sight is because the faithful are doing so badly at catching the traitors and at this rate there'll be two traitors still left by episode 12.

NibbledSwitch · 14/12/2022 11:59

I hope they try and recruit Andrea as the next traitors. I think she would relish the part!

ReneBumsWombats · 14/12/2022 12:05

She might have in the beginning but I think she's internalised her role now and wouldn't want to, well, turn traitor.

caringcarer · 14/12/2022 12:07

I don't think Andrea would accept. Who do you think would accept an invitation to be a traitor?

ReneBumsWombats · 14/12/2022 12:17

I think Kieran or Theo.

WhatsitWiggle · 14/12/2022 12:19

I think Kieron would accept, he hasn't formed bonds with anyone yet that I can see.

And maybe Hannah

ButtonSister · 14/12/2022 12:21

I think Kieran would turn traitor. And Maddie. I do think as the game goes on there'll be more enthusiasm to become a traitor because it does seem that the traitors have a better chance of winning

ButtonSister · 14/12/2022 12:23

Maddie would be a dangerous one to ask, for Will anyway. She would see it as her accusees trying to bring her on side, and would be even more convinced Wilf and Aaron are traitors

pompomsandtinsel · 14/12/2022 12:51

MendaciousMabel · 13/12/2022 22:08

Not lovely Amos!

Really like Amanda (let’s face it wilf is contributing fuck all) strategy of breaking up strong relationships and taking out leaders. She seems to have a really high emotional intelligence.

I think Amanda is just a fully functioning adult.

pompomsandtinsel · 14/12/2022 12:56

JaneJeffer · 14/12/2022 00:49

Maddie has taken over Tom's role of thinking they can read people. I would try to keep her there if I was a traitor because she flits from one accusation to the next and confuses the rest of them.

Yes Maddie's logic and reading skills:

I played a woman with no womb therefore I can read people.

I played a homeless person in Eastenders therefore I can read people.

The moon is in Gemini therefore I can read people.

I ate toast for breakfast therefore I can read people.

Today is a Wednesday therefore I can read people.

She does my head in.

She thinks of them as friends now so I don't think she would be any good. I agree Kieran hasn't really bonded with them so I'd choose him.

OP posts:
Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 14/12/2022 13:21

Yes I wasn't convinced by Amanda's theory that now isn't the time to recruit and they need to break up loyalties first. I get why they'd murder to break up groups but the longer it goes on the more people will form bonds with people and then the greater the guilt when they have to vote people out so the less likely they are to turn traitor. Alex must have known she'd be safer and more likely to win if she became a traitor but she chose not to anyway.

JaneJeffer · 14/12/2022 13:23

It would be funny if Amos turned traitor and Alex continued to confide in him and convince everyone he is faithful.

OP posts:
Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 14/12/2022 13:25

It would! But I don't think that will happen because a) he's too honest and b) he's probably dead!

I'd love to know how the programme is planned. Does it stick to a script written months ago or is it like a tree diagram and the producers have mapped it out so that if one thing happens they go down this route but if something different happens they go down another one? Obviously the challenges don't change but maybe (for eg) if the traitors aren't getting found the tables are turned and for one night only the faithfuls can anonymously vote for someone to be murdered. The traitors aren't going to admit they didn't get a vote or everyone would know that they were traitors.

Itaintwhatyoudoitsthewaythatyoudoit · 14/12/2022 14:07

I would like to know their sleeping arrangements and how they are ferried in the evenings and mornings without anyone seeing who is coming and going.

ReneBumsWombats · 14/12/2022 14:13

How exactly can they break up loyalties?

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 14/12/2022 14:15

Claudia was on Scott Mills yesterday and I think she said that there are much longer time gaps then it would appear between events (for example, everyone leaving at night and the traitors coming back).

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 14/12/2022 15:34

I would like Maddie to be murdered or banished asap

ralieghnc · 14/12/2022 15:47

I bet there’s all sorts of terms in the contract. It wouldn’t surprise me if they aren’t allowed to accuse each other or theorise whilst the cameras aren’t running…

It does ruin it a bit if you really think about how it’s edited within an inch of its life

ReneBumsWombats · 14/12/2022 15:50

You just have to accept that with reality entertainment. It's not a scientific study, it's just good TV.

ralieghnc · 14/12/2022 15:51

I want Alex gone because it feels like she’s blatantly being pushed as the ‘main character’ because she’s young and attractive. I mean, look at the love triangle. That must’ve been arranged with the producers, no way it’s a coincidence that both of the couple got selected. I bet the Traitor’s were told to recruit her as a Traitor as well.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 14/12/2022 16:07

I don't think it was an accident that both Tom and Alex were selected but I don't think the love triangle was created by the producers. I think we have to trust the producers to a degree or there's no point in watching the programme.
