Does anyone remember the thread where a Mumsnetter fancied MH like mad? I cried with laughter at that thread 🤣 it was during the dark days of the second lockdown.

Personally I think the best approach would be for the audience to completely ignore him, vote him in for none of the tasks, and then vote him out as soon as possible. He knows people will vote for him to do horrible things, and he wants to show himself doing them bravely and humbly. Don’t give him the opportunity. It won’t happen, sadly.

I have never watched this show.
I can't decide whether to or not now...

I don't usually watch it, @54isanopendoor but it all sounds so weird and un-wonderful this year that my curiosity is getting the better of me.

I'm gutted, been enjoying it so far and not sure I can stomach it now. I dislike MH and SW.

I hope that there isn't bullying and I wouldn't condone that, but the only reason MH is so well known is firstly from being health minister during the pandemic (which obviously wasn't his fault) which caused a lot of grief, emotionally, physically and financially that a lot of people will still be suffering. Secondly from having an affair (which obviously was his fault!!) when other people were living with strict restrictions. I think the fact that he's somehow deemed a "celebrity" (albeit offered by the tv company) and making money from that, will be a bitter pill for a lot of people.

I suppose he'll be peddling his new book as well. I think it's fair enough if he is taken to task over certain things, as long as it doesn't become a pile-on.

Unfortunately, he's going to get all the trials and the air time and others who want to do trials (like BG) will miss out.
