Stella actually you would be surprised. I used to work at JL over 12 years ago(though in customer services) and the perfume houses would give loads of freebies away with purchases. So, if you bought 2 items say, you would get a couple of items (full size, not samples) free. Estee Lauder did a gift set once a year and 4/5 items of full size stuff worth ££££ completely free. The lipstick they always gave away was one of my favourite shades- but they stopped doing it
