MAFS spoiler thread.

As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

Apparently each couple is on the couch for 1-2 hours, so all we see is edited together snippets of much longer conversations. I think they try to poke and prod at them until they get emotional or upset or whatever.

The dinner party and commitment ceremony days are very long days of filming from early morning until late into the night. That also adds to the emotion as they are all drinking and tired and stuck together.

It's really disappointing this year , they are a bunch of weirdos . April has apparently said she had had to attend a therapist because of it

I can see why Whitney would be attracted to Matt in terms of 'man mountain' but just don't see her as someone that could accept that level of tattoo. Am I the only one wondering if the real reason he is rejecting Gemma as once he saw her without her wedding dress (I mean in normal clothes) he realised she was bigger than his preference - wedding dresses are huge, you can't tell sometimes.

No I'm sure it was all those vulgar comments of hers. He specifically mentioned them even before they got back to the hotel and I think he'd got a major ick which is very difficult if not impossible to reverse.

If I was in his place as a woman I would have seriously reconsidered being alone with a person who acted like she did. I think she even said something like 'we're married so we have to have sex'. I wouldn't have felt safe. If you're with someone like that, making comments like that you feel just like a piece of meat, no better than a blow up doll. They'll sulk if they don't get sex and guilt trip you into 'giving in'. However I don't like Matt at all for different reasons but him getting the ick over Gemma was totally understandable.

Also, when that one expert stayed in the room while K&K were playing with the sex toys stuff, until he finally told her to leave!? Like what? Give them the box of goodies and buggar off. Why are you standing next to the bed watching them trying to get horny? Weird!!! 🙈

Had a look at George's insta, I wonder does he have some sort of obscure medical condition where he can't call things by their names. His children are heartbeats and his mum is Rocket.
His heartbeats do look lovely. Does he live on a farm?

I’m quite interested to see what Whitney is like with Matt, all we’ve seen is complete distain for Duka, imagine if she goes all giggly and girly in his presence?! I hope they’ve actually got some footage and it’s not just hearsay like the hot tub and bitching sagas!

@Midlifemusings I don't think so, he uses the heartbeat's names and tags them.

I think it totally is, I'm sure the comments were annoying but I think he just didn't fancy her, there wasn't any affection from him whatsoever

Gemma did a Live on her IG.

In it she said, prior to the dinner at C&J’s, her and Matt had a discussion, where she basically said to him it’s clear he doesn’t fancy her.

His response apparently, was to try and get her to think of the money. He told her to ‘strategise’ and stay in the experiment to enable them to make money off it, to think of her kids and the money she could make for them etc

So I’m now wondering, if money is indeed his motivator, whether he’s thinking that if Gemma is likely to leave because she’s realised he doesn’t like her, that if he makes a connection with Whitney he may be allowed to go back on the show? 🤔

Them being motivated by money is the only reason to stay. Although you do also have to portray yourself in a good light, which they are failing at miserably.

Whitney said the same in her Insta stories this weekend.

Duka was fake because he said off camera when she didn't connect with him that they should stay in it for fame and Instagram followers.

Thomas seems to be throwing shade at Jess in his stories.

Everyone is throwing shade and praising their new best friends on Instagram.

I think everyone goes on it for the exposure and the money - not sure how lucrative it is but they must expect some good to come from it.

Gemma keeps posting about how many new followers she has gotten and her victim sob stories are working.

If you look at the overall success rate to end up married, you would be better off on Big Brother or Love Island. They know coming on that the chance of a successful marriage is slim to none. This crowd seems to have been a little thrown off by how reality TV works, not realizing that anything they say can and will be used against them.

Not of course why she was on it. She was looking for true love.

There has probably been more successful relationships from Love Island actually…. 🤣

I don't understand the hatred for April. I think George is incredibly manipulative. That scene where he was questioning her about the man and her past was really frightening. I think April is just being careful not to reveal too much and it's being interpreted as her holding things back and being a liar.

I don’t hate April. But I do think she can turn on the fake tears.

I think George has some major red flags. His behaviour concerns me.

Whitney has got to be an actress surely?!

Zoe and Adrian’s faces were hilarious doing some of the chats, drives me mad they don’t show everyone’s answers to the questions, talk about fake drama!
