As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

We have had more focus on homestays than anything else or any relationship building over the last weeks. It's ridiculous. Was there really this little footage to work with?

i don’t think there is much of interest to show. We see to get a rehash of the same things (vegan, April is fake, horse legs etc) over and over. They seem to be needing to manufacture the conflicts.

The problem with this cast is that most couples don’t like or dislike their partner. They mostly get along as friends. There is no love or hate.

Whitney and Matt is the only actual drama.

It's clear the only force that can silence Thomas is his mum. Both he and the dad sat there is silence whilst she grilled poor Adrian. The mum wanted in depth details about what they'd done in the bedroom 😳.
Sophie's dad comes across very new money, thinks he made it and now a multimillionaire has to come along for Sophie. Thankfully Sophie has other ideas, or so I thought until she said she wants kids and then to do nothing. So much for the ultra fast paced career that she thrives on!

I'm shocked these parents are not respecting the process and the science 😂

Sophie’s dad sounded like he’d been fed the lines by the producers. Thomas’ mother felt a lot more natural in her approach - either a better actress or Thomas’ behaviour is now explained.

I was surprised Thomas had a dad, he's spoken a lot about his mum and Nan raising him, I assumed his mum was a single parent.

People like Tom will shag anything going even if it’s a person they dislike. Adrian is like me, he has to respect a person the fancy them and I’ve been put off by good looking men before when they’ve behaved poorly. Poor Adrian!

Thomas’s mum is defo an enabler! That meet up should be the end of it for Adrian, who would want to be in a three way relationship with your fella and his mam!

Kasia is infuriating me, why isn’t she losing her shit with Kwame, he’s so insincere it’s unreal! The pickled rat was awful, agree Jenna’s house is nicer than Zoe’s but it’s coming across that it’s Zoe’s way or the highway.

I am on episode 19 now. Just seen the fireworks after Matt and Whitney's revelation. Feel a bit sorry for Gemma to be honest, even though I thought she was vile to start with - vulgar and rude - as she just seems to want love.

Don't know what to make of Whitney. Not a fan of hers. Dislike Matt intensely. Kwame is a shit stirring creep, and I feel sorry for Kasia. She deserves better. Ditto the new posh chick - forget her name sorry... She is with the bloke who said he wouldn't fancy her if she put weight on... the one who doesn't give a shit if he offends anyone. Wanker. SHE deserves better too.

But the most loathsome of all is bloody Thomas. Hideous, attention seeking, shit stirring little drama queen, who just wants air time, and to be in the centre of EVERY spat and argument. He is fucking awful. I'd have drop kicked him into the middle of next week by now if I had been there.

Why does Jenna always have that little ponytail in her hair. It drives me crazy. Would be a deal breaker for me!

I think Adrian is like a carer for Thomas - a very kind and patient one - but the total lack of anything physical is down to him not finding Thomas attractive on an emotional level at all. Adrian seems like a cerebral person with high emotional intelligence who needs the same in his partners. Thomas is clearly a damaged soul with little self-restraint or self-regulation at all. There is no equality in their relationship. It’s parent/child, nurse/patient.

I feel a bit sorry for Thomas, in spite of the crazy he causes around him. It must often be hard being him. But I feel more sorry for Adrian who must have spent most of the experiment on tenterhooks, waiting to try and put out the fire of the next blow up. Exhausting.

Kasia has worked hard to build up what sounds like a great business and strong self confidence. That must have been so difficult as a single mum. I hugely admire her. She’s fun and bold. She is far too good for Kwame who behaves like a total bullshitter and clearly doesn’t find her to his taste physically.

I don’t understand why Jordan is being such a plonker now. He is creating problems where none are needed. You don’t have to go out of your way to say I don’t love you yet. Just don’t say I love you until you’re ready. Same as don’t move in until you’re ready.

The alopecia was another thing that was badly edited. There was a huge run up to will Zoe be accepting or won't she then it was never mentioned again!

I think it is impossible for Adrian to fall for Thomas. They have a parent - bratty child relationship - that isn't the kind of relationship that grows sexual attraction.

Kwame and Kasia are about equally interested or more like disinterested in the other.

I am sure there was some context or conversation at the dinner party about living together that led to Jordan talking about not wanting to live with someone unless he is in love with them. I felt like that scene when he was telling her was another recreation for filming moment and not the original conversation.

Aargh, Sophie's dad! So she wants to be a stay at home mother. Seems Jonathan isn't 'rich' enough for her family.

She's a grown woman, why bring him back to her parents home when she has her own. Seems she wants to be looked after and have her parent's approval on everything.

I just remembered hearing the lovely Lara on a podcast saying how Adrian and Tom are actually really tactile and affectionate in person with each other but just not PDA fans in front of the cameras... which is wierd considering that meeting and conversation with Tom's folks mum?

@anchoviescapers I assume that is more down to Adrian's private nature. If it was up to Thomas they'd be DTD over the back of the sofa in full view of everyone and cameras. That would keep his mum happy.
