As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

Whoever said the other thread is about a turf war was 100% correct. A (admittedly very very funny and regular contributor) poster flounced and it upset a lot of people

See maybe I’m just too long in the tooth, or have conservative taste, but it seems that Matt is considered attractive, or attractive enough to be vain - I don’t get it.

The person @thenightsky knows fancies him, plus another poster in the other thread said she knows him well and he’s very vain, Whitney fancies the pants off ‘the boy’ and Gemma acted like she’d been landed with Brad Pitt circa 1997. Titney and Gemma are extremely attractive women, and IMO could do better.

Now when they had a preview of a rather unfortunate looking (IMO) bloke with face tattoos, I will admit my snap judgement was “He looks a bit smelly ooh I bet he’s a virgin”. Because COME ON….face tattoos! Who fancies face tattoos?!

Another poster pointed me in that direction when I asked where they’d seen it.

So how accurate it is given its Thomas revealing it, is questionable!

I’m actually surprised how much they’re allowed to post on Instagram. Including pictures on their stories on nights out with other contestants, so if they’ve previously had a spat you assume they’ve patched things up. MAFSAU bans them from posting completely til the reunion is done.

Maybe I should report them to Instagram for spoilers on the stories 🤣🤣🤣

Still surprised by how much they are putting on insta, am sure the Aus people are under some kind of embargo until after the show has finished.

Anyway, Adrian said he wasn't sure whether to repeat what he said but there are other hints out there that we WILL see it, so I'm guessing it's saved for the reunion show maybe?

Read an interview with Matt where he said he and Gemma were on good terms at the end of filming. After she got back home she face timed him and he talked to her and her kids.

He said the editing made both of them look worse than it really was.

I wonder how Matt and Gemma's relationship would have worked had she not been so vulgar? Or are him and Whitney on their 15 mins of fame so Gemma had no chance anyway? Most of these this year are reality stars in one way or another apart from a couple of them and it just makes it so fake.

I would have asked do we think it's time for a rest but of course they are advertising for people for the next series already. So unless it's in the new contracts that you can't do x y z we'll just get more of the same. Ahhh to be in the days when sosh media wasn't at the forefront of everyone's career plans!

There's a Facebook group where aprils mum and sister have been kicking off. They're apparently fuming at what April has been saying. I think I've missed something though as it's not making much sense to be honest.

I think George and April got too deep too fast. They had sexual chemistry and then opened up to each other emotionally and then realized they had gotten too vulnerable with a stranger and tried to pull back. They both just seem like emotionally wounded people and that is such a bad dynamic. I see George as more anxious than angry in what he says and April is pretty fragile too.

I guess they like some emotionally vulnerable people on the show. Thomas, Gemma, George, April, Richie, etc. They bring the conflict and the drama and the mess. They are all adults consenting to this, knowing their own insecurities and knowing it is a produced and edited show but I think it is harder seeing this mess in 30 and 40 year olds with kids as entertainment than in the Geordie Shore type show of early 20s being total messes.

The hate they get after the fact is the biggest issue. If people could just watch it as entertainment and not be so judgmental and nasty about the edited version of these people and stop all the name calling and social media nonsense directed at them - it would still be much better entertainment. I don't think any of them are bad people nor do I think I actually know what any of them are really like from seeing a few edited minutes on my screen.

I wish social media would be wiped from the earth!

Loved the trailer for this coming week (just watching unveiled) - Thomas does at least one flounce, of course, and Whitney wears more horrendous clothing that doesn't fit properly. BRING IT!

Saw on another forum that April's mum is going to a solicitor about her lies. Her sister alleges that their DF went NC with her because April is a narc and manipulates him.

Have I totally missed this stuff about April? I don't remember her talking about her family?

I saw something similar. But judging by the attack on Matt from Gemma on her IG recently, she clearly isn't over it/angry about it. I can't work out whether she's angry about the edit or actually angry at Matt though, but she's pretty anti him in whichever case!

I don't remember April talking about her family either, but I can absolutely see her as very manipulative. She's really odd. Her face when she tried to cry at the garden table when Thomas called her a name is hilarious. It's like watching a spoiled toddler with the whiny voice.

I actually find very few of this years cast likable. Pretty much just Zoe and Adrian are the only ones who seem genuine. The rest are there for their 5 mins, but weirdly don't seem to understand they don't have the personalities to back up a media presence. Even the "good" ones from the last UK season as like a distant memory.

Don't you think they should keep the set up as it is, dinner parties and get together etc, but make the marriages legally binding again?

That would keep some of the drama, but also weed out the insta wannabies?

God I'm so excited for 9pm - just a few hurdles to jump - but oh the brainless entertainment on the other side of work, dinners, kids homework, bedtime drill... then it's all me & the telly!!!!
