MAFS spoiler thread.

As the current thread is restricted only to discussing what is actually happening on the show, I thought I'd set up a spoiler thread where Instagram posts, Daily Mail articles etc are allowed to be discussed.

In no way is this meant to replace the main thread and discussions about the show. Just so that comments that are not allowed are able to be discussed.

It was last year. She went on one date, during which he didn't take her anywhere, not even for a coffee. He expected her to sit in his barber shop and listen to him talking about himself 100%. He didn't ask a single question about her. She said she really fancied him physically, but his arrogance was 'so ugly'.

The kicking off about non-spoilers on that bread was REALLY odd.

A spoiler is when you spoil future episodes.

According to the other thread a spoiler can be ANYTHING that isn’t shown on the show. Including “I met George once he was nice”

The other thread was really about a turf war. There were clearly a few posters who felt they owned the threads and they got very defensive when newcomers arrived. They only really wanted their little clique of posters that had apparently been posting in past seasons and so they decided to hyperventilate and flounce off or run off anyone new by being nasty. I get that some threads develop a small group feel and that new posters are threatening to that but the dramatics and nastiness in trying to protect their thread was a bit over the top.

However when you see people react that way, it is also a reminder that a lot of people are on the edge of sanity and little things like their fav MAFS thread are part of what is holding them together.

There's nothing worst than people being so possessive over what comments people can and cannot make.

Agree that barber shop date isn’t a spoiler. Tbf to other thread though people were posting spoilers or alluding to them. I think stuff like the date would’ve been ok otherwise. It just got heated.

CV gate is interesting. I like Sophie, sad he comes across amenable but says what she thinks. Glad his mum agrees with her.

Thing is, I didn't even post the details of the date. I merely posted 'DD's friend went on a date with Matt once'.

So true, it’s like some people are trying to relive their school day popularity contests! I’ve been around a lot on the tv threads (love a bit of shit reality tv) and I find the fan girling of some posters so cringe and detracting from the actual discussion.

Johnathans mum seems really sound she knows what he is, a small time town attractive boy, typical big fish in a little pond mentality. Yes he’s pretty but there’s not much underlying. Sophie deserves better.

What puzzled me is that as a fan of shit reality TV threads I remember the various MAFS ones in the past and I'm certain it was only if couples had split up or were definitely still married which counted as spoilers.

Someone posted Bryce and Melissa had twins and they were only mildly rebuked.

I think the upset came from a particular poster leaving. Which is not nice but it was their choice.

It's all just childish and stupid and unnecessary.

Yeah I think it’s crazy to compare MAFS and MAFSA. Atm we are all watching in real time. all the ex cast will be in be NDA’s so despite what they post on insta it’s all speculation which is why I don’t get discussion around their posts was allowed! In MASFA we watch months behind so of course it’s important no one disclosed actual spoilers, but the current state of affairs is crazy 🤯

Kasia has zero interest in Kwame as a life partner either. I feel as though they had a chat early on to milk this for all they can. Just like they showed and provided advertising for Jenna's store, they may do the same for Kasia's business or Kwame's podcast.
