At the very beginning, Whit did say she liked a big man with a good beard. But not even she could keep a straight face when she was talking about how 'kind' Matt was. That's not the first word anyone would use to describe Matt
I think the producers asked Whit and Matt to recreate the conversations they'd had on the way to the gym/ in the corridors, etc - possibly because they also didn't there was any chemistry between them - and that's why it was so contrived. Matt suddenly pulling the let's bond over our mums card made me feel a bit ick tbh - I just don't see ill and dead mum's as a pulling technique.

I think it just shows his working class upbringing and attitudes. He is far from unusual. And yes, I know that I am stereotyping.

Johnathan really didn't help himself with the 'I'll just shut up and not say anything' comment.

It's the classic response of someone who doesn't know how to express themselves thoughtfully and with an emotional intelligence. So they just go "Fine! I just won't say anything at all". Because they don't know how to acknowledge having been hurtful and that they need to apologise. Because they genuinely can't see having been hurtful.

When I was single years ago me and a friend applied for that No Likey No Lighty show when we were very drunk. We made a load of crap up like we can contort our bodies, play the tuba, have slept with 20 premiership footballers and have sang on stage with Michael Ball. They hounded us both after to go for auditions 🤣

Aghhhhh I wish they'd left in the whole segment of the guys and girls talking about who they fancied in the group and who they disliked, I think it would have been really telling! So interesting that Jordan found Kasia sexy and none of the guys picked our very own Miss GB April...

I've watched it from the beginning and much prefer the older series, it felt like they were all taking it seriously and not just to get on TV, plus the people looked more normal without fillers and all the rest.

I too liked the original concept that uk did and USA still does -3/4 couples and much more serious about it. USA one has quite a few long term couples. They do it by location/major city to avoid long distance issues -often an issue in the Australian show.

Can you imagine if one of them had picked April? George's jealousy would hit the stratosphere. And he would turn into an actual tomatoe.

Christ on a bike- Tiny Tears was on top, ridiculous form. I have never seen anything more fake since I used to cry in the mirror age 7 to see what I looked like. FFS.

Love, love, love Thomas. His drama makes him who he is. Adrian is my absolute favourite- he's so perceptive.

Matt and Whiney are still arseholes and welcome to each other. Gemma's an arsehole too- but a damaged one needing therapy.

Johnathan is a twat: Sophie deserves better. He never laughs or is light-hearted and seems to want everything on his terms- walk, sweetie.

It's all starting to feel a bit more towie now with some of the scene - even when Gemma and Thomas were talking on the steps and Adrian arrived. Full credit to him for not spilling that Tats had said Whitney...he's so right, Gemma didn't need to know that then. Not particularly looking forward to seeing Tattney in any compromising positions so I hope the cameras will spare us.

I loved Kwamememe's surprise at JoHnathan saying he didn't fancy Sophie, that was hilarious. Not as hilarious as Duka though, who I think production will have a problem getting rid of after the show is over, he's in it for that long a run.
