It sounds a bit like the Colin Firth story in Love Actually. George needs to rent a cabin abroad and romance the young, pretty, Portuguese cleaner. She would love to hear about his heartbeats and they'll be married by Christmas.

I now visualize George's dc as little beating hearts in jars.

I think April should have been more honest. The relationship she lied about was the one with the guy from the last reality tv show she was on. It was public knowledge - why say there was nothing when there was. He looked it up and realized she lied. Now she is on another dating show, dating another guy. This is the third one. She clearly likes reality tv dating shows but I get why George is suspicious. Considering she already kissed someone else on their honeymoon, and she is 32 and not sure if she wants kids...there is zero chance this is working out. The guy got cheated on and then got with April who started kissing other people others after the wedding...cruel to put her with him.

I find George pretty scary. If I was April I'd be long gone. You can see the rage in his eyes at the slightest provocation and I imagine any woman he was in a relationship with would walk on eggshells.

Gemma's facial expressions remind me of the actor Emily Blunt.

I'd tried to block that out but you've just brought it flooding back. How he kept a straight face. It was awful and hilarious in equal measure.

Oh really? That’s pretty bad if if that’s the case.

He clearly hasn’t dealt with that though before coming on the show. For how insecure he comes across, he’s going to be like this in any relationship I think unless he finds a way to deal with it better.

And if April’s been on several dating shows, I don’t know why on earth the experts matched those two together. That was always going to be a recipe for disaster when George found out. And his behaviour seems to be escalating, it’s not pretty to watch.

Do you think if someone walked out during the honeymoon that the show would broadcast it? Or do you think they'd just slot another couple in and no-one would mention it ever again?

George is a worry, he is coming across as quite controlling. The 5 heartbeats thing is awful. I think he has an unpleasant side not far from the surface. April is not at all genuine I agree, but she has bitten off more than she can chew with George.

i have a feeling something like that might have happened in an Aus series - might be imagining things though!

But considering they literally said they were matching Johnathon and Gemma (think that's who it was) because they have both been in relationships that have failed, nothing with those "experts" surprises me lol. His behaviour is definitely escalating though!!

One of this year's Love Island contestants left MAFS to do LI. But I'm not sure what stage she left, whether the wedding had already taken place or not.

In a previous UK series, one person withdrew before the wedding but then dated the guy she was matched with for a while.

One of Zoe's videos landed on my page on TikTok. It was just a short video of some of them dancing and singing to Teenage Dirtbag. It was nice to see them.all having fun.

If you’re referring to my earlier comment, I didn’t specifically nor intentionally post a spoiler. I mentioned a rumour.

A spoiler is telling people about something that has definitely happened and been broadcast, that some people haven’t seen yet.

At the time of posting, I had no idea if what I mentioned has happened or is even true. It was just a rumour.

Yeah I’m honestly quite dumbfounded at these experts!

When they show who they’ve matched up, most of the time I’m like “Why did you match these two?” by the time they’ve got to the wedding reception 😂

Feels like they matched Gemma & Matt purely because they both had tats and ran their own hairdressing salons 🙄

I'm dumbfounded that they allow so many people with quite complex issues onto the show at all. And then match them with someone completely incompatible It's a recipe for disaster. But then, cynical me thinks that absolutely none of these people are actually interested in meeting the love of their lives; most just want the exposure. So does it really matter?
