New series which was inspired by a Mumsnet thread.

The official synopsis for Am I Being Unreasonable? calls it a "twisted comedy thriller about obsessive friendship, maternal paranoia – and a dead cat."
The synopsis continues: "Nic is grieving a loss that she can’t share with anyone and is unfulfilled in her marriage. Only her son Ollie, who she adores, keeps her going. But when Jen arrives in town her life is lit up with laughter and through this kindred soul her dark secret starts to bubble up.
"Shot through with whip smart humour, this mischievous and characterful blend of funny and frantic takes female storytelling to a refreshing and dynamic new level."

i watched one episode last night and part of a second episode, i will catch up later, seemed good

I'm such a muppet, I got the episodes mixed up on my bloody iPad and watched episode 6 halfway through, no wonder I found it confusing 🤦‍♀️

Just to say I finished watching this series yesterday and I’m glad I did. Very well done and I think I’ll have to watch again to piece it all together a bit more. I thought the actor who played her son was particularly brilliant.

Brilliant show, binge watched in 2 nights. So funny because there are bits throughout I thought were a bit odd and unrealistic but actually….they weren’t, iykwim

Lenny Rush is incredible. Such an accomplished young actor. Really enjoyed this series. Loved the twist.

Agree. They were not mocking the cat's death, nor those who love their cats and grieve for them.

But honestly, swerve this one as it would be upsetting.
