Fizzy I saw the Cliff stuff mentioned in the press over the summer. She is clearly quite miffed that he made a lot more out of their 'relationship' than there actually was. Whilst she wanted to move on and never mentoned it. Because there was nothing to say.

There’s a programme about Rog on R5 - I just caught a bit of it (it’s available on BBC Sounds). Sue was on it - I still wish they’d retired at the same time - they could have cried together

Norrie and Broady have both pulled out of their respective tournaments - both had reached the quarter finals, Cam in Korea and Liam in Tel Aviv. Hope they’re both ok.

Don't know what's wrong with Liam. Must be major considering it's only the second ATP quarter final he's ever reached. Shame

Apparently Cam tested positive for Covid, that’s why he had to pull out of Korea, and now Tokyo as well. Feel sorry for him, I know he was trying to rack up some more points to try and make the ATP finals.

Djok has won the tournament in Tel Avi, where he sadly beat Marin in the final. That's disappointing.

Nishioka was a bit of a shock winner in Seoul. As was Marc-Andrea Hüsler in Sofia.

Lots of smaller 250/500 tournaments coming up, before the Paris Masters and the tour finals. Bit of a gap in the schedule with the Chinese tournaments not being played - Shanghai hasn't happened since 2019.

It's a shame about Cam. He's currently 11th in the race, and there are still a few events to come. But Djok gets an automatic WTF place because he has won a slam (even though he could finish outside the top 8). So that limits places at the top.

Cam could have a lifeline due to Zverev currently being 8th- and it's looking increasingly uncertain whether he will play again this year. Plus, there is sadly a question mark over Rafa, even though he qualified first. Fitness/personal issues could end the season for him. I really hope that is not the case- and I am not giving up hope he will win the tour finals one day! (Ok that's optimistic ).

So Rafa is doing a South American tour next month with your favourite Norwegian Raahh. Who* *speaks Spanish! Clever chap, Casper

I'm just looking at a few scores- unfortunately, he lost in Japan. Alcaraz is currently playing Goffin in Kazakhstan- and it's a close first set.

Not going well at all for Carlos in fact but a good match it seems for David- who won the first set and is 2-0 up in the second.

Good win for Goffin, but not really what Carlos would have wanted as the new number 1.
