I know Fluffy. I think this has been a very emotional year for Rafa and it all came flooding out. I hope Xisca and the baby are ok. This photo is a killer. He said it's good to have a cry though!

I think it feels strange to me as he's always been there - it feels like the end of an era. I wonder if there will be a big 3 from the newer guys coming through. Though Novak looks to be pretty fit and playing well.

Andy must be disappointed, he lost his singles and his doubles! And Cam lost too, not exactly a great tournament for the British members of Team Europe!

I’m actually glad it’s competitive between Europe and World though, makes it more interesting. Jack and Felix played really well together.

At least we get another competitive match after this one now. Can't see AA winning though.
I've realised why I never normally watch this, the coverage from Discovery+ is awful, just watched Federer being interviewed but I've got no commentary at all!

I have just got in- looking good for Felix. Fingers crossed he can win this. (I know I should be team Erope- but you know, it's Djok). Plus, in the absence of Rafa, I've lost interest a little (Stef and Casper have been on a winning team, and probably wll be again. )

Yes I prefer it without the commentary Jane, at least there are no ads. Atmosphere on Team Europe seems really subdued, no one giving advice to Djok even though he gives advice to everyone else!

Was there discussion of a wrist injury? I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks up a few niggles, not having played for so long. But if he’s injured, why not let someone else play?

Jane it;s funny, isn't it, the age thing? I suppose Stef is the more experienced - though Casper now has 2 slam finals under his belt.
