Got my month's subscription via discovery+ (must remember to cancel it!) and watched from 7pm until the feed cut out at 1am. No adverts thank God - the team coaching is the best bit Not sure Bjorn said a word all night though, it was just the 4 golden oldies plus Matteo! Andy had to keep asking his team for any thoughts and then you couldn't shut Djok up!

Yes, dressing children the same, even if they are twins, is just wrong at that age, even the boys. Maybe it's a Swiss thing but I certainly wouldn't want to come up against Mirka! Doesn't look like Rafa is there now, even to watch - Roger is, even though he isn't playing.

I think Rafa must have planned to pull out, otherwise why has Norrie has been there all week during the build up. From Rafa’s comments after the US Open I think he wasn’t planning to play at all but when Roger made his retirement announcement it was important to him to turn up so they could play together. I suspect he just wants to go home and be with Xisca.

Seems bonkers that Djok is playing back to back but I suppose it won’t be any more court time than a five set singles match.

Yes, I also think Rafa only ever intended to play with Roger. He got there at the last minute and Norrie has been there the whole time, despite there being no mention of him!

Ice I think Rafa only playing once was the plan- but they have to 'offcially' play 2 matches. Rules can be bent- and it's Roger's tournment- so it could be changed.
A couple of weeks ago, Roger was interviewed talking about how his knee was still inflamed- so really, I wasn't expecting either of them there. The one 'retirement' match was a good compromise.

I just hope he doesn't get any ideas to retire himself- yet.

Matteo is playing twice today as well, because he is Djok's doubles partner.

It does mean i have lost interest a bit (too much Djok). BUt you can never have too much Matteo.

Kazza no, Norrie was never on the original official Team sheet- it was always Casper, Stef and Murray outside the 'big 3'. (and oddly no Carlos).Norrie is just kind of 'there' Matteo was the original listed 'alternate'- so they probably had to draft in an extra.

I read today that Mery has been hospitalised - hope all is ok. I’d say Rafa would have preferred not to have to be in London at all but wanted to do it for Roger.
