Bah humbug. Glad I missed it.

I started off thinking Danny was mildly irritating. I’ve upgraded this over the last couple of episodes to unbearable. Please please please stop the constant cackling, bellowing and “helloooo Wembley!!” stuff. Unfortunately I think he has this in the bag (and doesn’t he know it).
He’s actually getting close to Swash levels of obnoxious for me, which I didn’t think was possible.
As we’re here: I do think the show could do with a reboot. The presenters, for example. They’ve been at it for years and the ennui is showing. I quite like John, but he seems bored to death with it (this and the regular MC) lately. And Gregg is just a constant irritant. I’m never quite sure what he adds.
Just my opinion!

If I ruled the MC universe, I would bin the sleb version completely.

Love professionals but would bring back MRJ (sorry not sorry Marcus).

Loved public MC but not keen on Anna Whatshername from Myrtle, but to be fair Mon is my girl crush (closely followed by Grace Dent)

Greggggg irritates me but not as much as many on here 😂 John can go. I was suprised he stayed after his cooking love in with Lisa. Not sure who would want to replace him?

Oh and yes Danny has this series in the bag. I would love Mel to win

How have I managed to miss 4 episodes?? Thought all was suspended until after the funeral.

I thought Danny might have it in the bag, but when he was finishing off his ravioli with the teeny tiny chopped veg they didn't show him making the sauce whereas the other two were shown making every part of their dishes, they just showed him moving a pan around and then plating up. Makes me think the sauce was made for him and he just did the showy bit. His ott reactions are really grating now, has been for the past few episodes, and I would rather Mel or Lisa won. Sad Cliff went, but did he use a bottle sauce for his noodles, or was that oyster sauce or hoisin sauce?

Mel's peas looked dried out and brown to me, but John raved about them.
