Wasn't this place a setting on that one with Rob Lowe, what was it called?

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 20:25

Has everyone given up on it?

Rummikub · 04/09/2022 20:27

I’ve ended up watching Ready player one. Got me hooked at once. Is ep 2 a follow on to ep 1?

Wild Bill....

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 20:29

No, difference case, same clichés

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 20:30

That's the one @Elderflower14

I don't know why I'm watching. It's not grabbing me at all. The script is dreadful.

Rummikub · 04/09/2022 20:31

You’re not selling it to me 😂

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 20:34

Well @Rummikub bar lady has just proffered two glasses and asked "livener?" Grin

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 20:35

Oh gorgeous Corrie woman is in it as the girlfriend. Must have missed her last week seeing as I missed half of it.

the80sweregreat · 04/09/2022 20:46

It's ok.
Might tape the rest and watch the capture instead.

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 21:50

Obvious suspect is obvious

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2022 21:55

Singing

Elderflower14 · 04/09/2022 22:04

One star review for last weeks episode in Mail on Sunday!

Snozzlemaid · 04/09/2022 22:27

Last week was okay, but this week was so slow and dull.
Not sure I'll watch anymore.

Winniewonka · 04/09/2022 23:04

Watched on +1, again for the locations but this episode was very weak. I won't give away any spoilers but there's a pattern so far to the culprits.
I have to say Bronagh Waugh's accent is excellent.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2022 10:55

Seen and sadly a bit boring

I didn’t guess who it was

im rubbish 😂

I presume they'll use a sperm donor.

WildFlowerBees · 05/09/2022 11:52

Quite enjoyed it but I can't deal with his singing at the end. No need for it.

butterpuffed · 05/09/2022 12:22

It was okay but would be better if it was an hour long . Guessed who it was as there weren't many characters in it and Graylish was too obvious .

I don't know any of the songs Ridley sings and they're a bit tuneless . I wonder if he only agreed to the series if he could include songs.

Snozzlemaid · 05/09/2022 13:36

Yes, one hour would have done.
I turned off when he started singing again.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2022 15:55

We now know he’s gonna end episode by singing 😂

JaneJeffer · 05/09/2022 16:07

There's no peril at all. When Ridley left the message for Carol to send backup and she was dawdling around doing dishes and then saw all the missed calls (when did he make those other calls?) it wasn't the least exciting. He just chatted away to the killer until backup eventually arrived.

MissMarpleRocks · 05/09/2022 18:44

It fills the time but is a bit boring. Not really interesting enough for Sunday night.
