I was clutching my pearls at how Theo James did Charlotte dirty at the end of SE1. I sensed his dark aura right from the very start, tbh.

But now with Alexander, o, I have hope yet again, that someone fit has graced Chrlotte's life

I couldn't stand Sidney.

I'm wondering when the "it's too late" scene takes place. Is it before the party and then Xander tries to make out he's only just met Charlotte again there so that Ralph won't know he's been making moves?

For Lent I've given up looking at pictures of Alexander Colbourne before 6p.m.

@JaneJeffer , I like the picture of 'the house' from yesterday. 'The house' didn't have that expression before.

I joined Britbox last Mayish, and watched all of S2 on Bb and then the ITV later in the summer. I spent last autumn thinking how nice it was going to be that this spring I could watchalong with the USA this time, but now Bb isn't having it. Ah, well.

I don't think I have the self-discipline to turn my face away from it all on 19th and just wait until ITV show it in the summer. I expect I will do the same as last year - google reviews and look for trailers. Even though I will know the basics of everything there are always things which you didn't hear about, when eventually we get to see it.

I didn't realise it was Lent upinaballoon. Thank goodness!

I binge watched S1 just before S2 started so I knew TJ wasn't coming back when I watched it but I still spent the first half thinking I'd misread and Sidney couldn't possibly have been meant as the hero because he was so awful . I adore Colbourne. Shy, introverted, complicated with a difficult past, he is the perfect fictional hero for me.

I will be disgusted, but not surprised, if ITV don't show it in March. The US, Canada, Australia and NZ are all showing it within days of each other.

I messaged ITV but no reply so far.

Final series of Endeavour starts on Sunday and they've not done much promo on that until recently although it's a big show for them, so there may be hope.

That's true @StarbucksSmarterSister. I'm looking forward to Endeavour. I love Shaun Evans. He's going to be in a true life drama where he's the killer

Shaun a killer? 😲 Mind you I think he was a bit dodgy in a drama last year, can't remember what it was about though.

I am on record somewhere as saying that I was inclined to favour Col. Lennox in S2 but that was early on, when there was misleading stuff about CH having 2 suitors in S2, and I was so wrong.

Oh the Sanditon spoilers, #Sanditon, there is a whole army of fans (especially the US fans) who are sharing everything - theories, photos, the lot!!
I've bought an all region dvd player and ordered S2&3 from an US website. ITV again will no doubt air an edited version of S3 (to tie in with their ads).

I've been following Reddit Sanditon for months and they have a lot on there, but not that picture of Samuel and G in her apartment. Spoiler alert - one place in the US has had a special showing of S3E1 so there are two threads about that. @Mistymornin , are you in the UK? I had looked for the USA-made dvd of S2 and had noticed that the small print said it would probably not be compatible with UK equipment. I expect you are right about the ITV dvd leaving things out.

@upinaballoon that was one of a bunch of advance pictures released to the press that someone got hold of, and others were unhappy they were posted on Twitter. Much ado about nothing! I don't care what I see at this stage - we've waited so long. ITV don't seem to be responding to any requests for an air date 🤬

Last year I looked for reviews etc. and then saw trailers, so I knew what happened before I saw it, so I might as well read and look at every spoiler this time too.
