Watched Sense and Sensibility (Ang Lee version) last night, for the first time in years. Lots of "Until tomorrow then" which obviously made me think of Sanditon!
Like the 1995 BBC P&P, the double wedding was a 2 minute final scene. If Sanditon does the same, I will not be happy! I want to see at least a couple of scenes of Mr and Mrs Colbourne afterwards but I don't think it will happen

It's very JA to end after the wedding though, P&P did too. Also a double wedding - so maybe Georgiana will marry at the same time as Charlotte?

I wonder about the scene 'a young woman must be free to choose her own destiny' whether it happens when Charlotte goes to tell Xander about Augward?

Although based on those couple of seconds, he seems a bit too calm to be talking about Augward. Perhaps he's talking about Charlotte and Ralph (and himself)? He seems resigned, as if he doesn't think he has the right to fight for her (until Samuel gives him a kick up the backside )

Maybe my double wedding speculation isn't far off? How gorgeous is this dress.

So does Xander declare himself on the cliff top early on, prompting Charlotte to tell him it's too late. Or is he just trying to get her back as governess because the house is still missing her
