I'd like to know the answer to this.

Netaporter · 16/08/2022 22:39

Yellowstone. Succession but with modern day cowboys. Awesome.

Haus1234 · 16/08/2022 22:39

West Wing?

hockeygrass · 16/08/2022 22:40

It's not quite the same but has a member of the Succession cast - The Dropout on Disney plus.

Bibbetybobbity · 16/08/2022 23:05

Industry? Season two coming soon so I’m rewatching s1…

Thisbastardcomputer · 16/08/2022 23:06

Have you watched Riviera? I really enjoyed it and The Tunnel

LoganRoy · 17/08/2022 17:54

I’m glad to see others are missing it as much as me!

Where will I find Yellowstone?

I have never seen The West Wing so that’s definitely something meaty to investigate.

I have watched Industry but I didn’t know there’d be S2 so I will keep my eyes peeled for it!

Sadly I don’t have Disney+ Sad

Yes I’ve seen Riviera, it definitely fills the beautiful locations and nice clothes bit of the Succession void.

Nothing. Nothing is quite that good. Unless you have never watched Breaking Bad, The Thick of It, House of Cards (before it's Her Turn).

Very different, but I May Destroy You is brilliantly written if it's the writing you loved. But totally different subject and style.

Defaultsetting · 17/08/2022 17:59

Severance on Apple TV

anderosonnmj · 17/08/2022 18:15

Not the same vibe as Succession, but I loved Station Eleven.

DuaneDibbley · 17/08/2022 18:18

The Morning Show?

EinsteinaGogo · 17/08/2022 18:24

The morning show, season 1 is a great shout.

bilbodog · 17/08/2022 18:44

Breaking bad and better call saul. Fargo.

LoganRoy · 18/08/2022 09:51

lots of suggestions! Thank you.

Loved I may destroy you. Long time fan of the thick of it. Morning show S1 was great, I’ve heard the second series isn’t as good - is it worth a watch?

The rest are all new to me, plenty of binging as we go into autumn!

The Flight Attendant.

Batceanera · 20/08/2022 15:11

My favourite programmes of all time is BETTER THINGS on iPlayer. Pamela Adlon writes and stars. Final series has a podcast for each episode.

My other half loves Only Murders in the Building on Disney.

Currently watching Frayed, Aussie comedy drama with Sarah Kendall.

Yellowstone is on my list, if I can find it.

Haven't got apple but Severance is also on my list.

About to re-watch Breaking Bad. I only watched the few few series. Then we are watching Better Call Saul for the first time straight after.

Also re-watching Ozark before catching the final series. Re-watching Shitts Creek at the same time cos it is very tense.

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 20/08/2022 15:15

Veep is pretty good - the US version of the Thick of It. Completely different but very good. Jesse Armstrong was one of the writers in Season 1 too.

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 20/08/2022 15:16

You would definitely recognise the Succession/Thick of It dry dark sense of humour in Veep

Zott · 20/08/2022 15:26

Yellowstone is the best series I’ve watched in a decade, it’s Amazon Prime, lots of horses, big ranch in Montana, disputes over land, interesting family with power struggles. Kevin Costner is head of the family, Kelly Reilly has a fabulous big role as his daughter. Lots of characters. It’s just fabulous, it’s a gritty watch.

goldfinchonthelawn · 20/08/2022 22:17

Someone mentioned Ozark. I loved it. Definitely worth watching.

IveNameChangedAgain2020 · 20/08/2022 22:21

How did you watch succession? Everyone is recommending I watch it but I don't know where to!

Sisisimone · 20/08/2022 23:24

It's on Sky Atlantic IveNameChangedAgain2020

Chemenger · 21/08/2022 07:28

We watched Succession on Now TV.

LoganRoy · 22/08/2022 22:35

I love Veep! For some reason it’s been taken off Sky so I might have to buy the box set.
