Tough watch last night.

I live in the area and remember that happening as I drive along there regularly. It was shocking, but interesting to see them attending to it. And I also have a family member as well as a friend who works for that ambulance service. Apparently they are encouraged to talk about certain subjects but goodness me I don't know how they do it. The episode with the suicide then the baby (who I also thought was perhaps an abuse case) then the miscarriage. God it was a hard watch let alone to be actually involved with the cases!

It was really sad with Josie and Dougie.
And distressing listening to the call
She must have been desperate 😞

And the little baby 😞

How was the gas explosion caused? Cos it said someone went to prison for it

I looked it up afterwards. He was trying to kill himself apparently and cut the hose to the cooker.

Tears at the end tonight...
So glad the man at the beginning sorted himself out and got his gf back... ♥

He looked like a completely different man on the photo at the end of the programme.

Yes, a happy ending for once. Will miss this series.

Why are the call handlers correcting people doing CPR and are counting out loud. They are telling them to say 'push instead' As long as they are indicating what they are doing the actual words don't matter!

The elderly man dying near the end was very sad, but showing the son's grief seemed rather intrusive to me, though he obviously had given his permission.

Who was Ian at the end?

I assumed that Ian was the man who died at the end; the one whose son was there.

The end gets me every time

I felt uncomfortable watching the one who was having a fit

Thank you. I keep going onto iPlayer to see if it's coming back on again. I wish they'd show series 1-4 though. I've just started watching inside the Ambulance and that starts right back from series 1 and judging by the waiting times for an Ambulance definitely way before Covid.

Another brilliant programme. Makes me so proud to live in this part of the world. The baby being delivered at the start was just brilliant - seeing the cAll handlers face when she said "she's going to have to take her trousers off!
